  • This short clip shows the simple process of how I make a Block Print Fishing Shirt.
    Step by step:
    1. Carve a reverse of the image in a block of linoleum.
    2. Use an ink roller (brayer) to ink the block.
    3. Line up a shirt. (hint: Use a piece of copy paper beneath the first layer)
    4. Press firmly and wiggle slightly before removing block.
    5. Dry and set with an iron.
After the image is transferred to the shirt, I allow the screen printing ink to dry before setting it with an iron on the hottest setting. This final step insures the print will remain permanent and bright.
