When parking in wind storm lower your landing gear it helps stabilize when parked
I've been in the reefer business for five years and never had a shipper say they need to double check to see if they need to add to what's already on the trailer. How about put everything on in the first place?? And I just want to say that Billie Joe's personality is awesome. If all women had her personality this world would be a nicer place to live. This is why I'm driving a smiley face across the country from VA to northern CA. I-10 baby. I-80 starting in Nebraska and going through Wyoming is down right scary.

I-80 going through Wyoming was hell this past week. 60mph wind gusts blowing snow through the interstate, and a CR England was flipped on its side.
That cr England truck was just in training. That's what they do.

WTG safety first. Growing up not too far from there I've seen many trucks just tossed over like it weighed nothing. Being sandblasted everyday like you were is definitely no fun. I loved being raised in the Texas Panhandle in Dalhart. The trees and hills of East Texas near Tyler is home now. Way more pretty than the flat lands. Stay safe.

It looks like a Pomeranian. I now have a Poma-huahua- terror- Malta. Barks at everything and everyone! I could never get to sleep. I would get a German Shepherd companion/guard dog.

I drove right through an El Paso megahaboob...aka...dust storm with pieces of our truck flying off behind me which I stopped along the interstate and duct taped back on..lol and didn't blink an eye....made the load 10 hours early...called ahead and they took it and hooked us to early one straight back....extra $2,000. That's how you kick trucking in the ass. We made over $200,000 our first year cause we fought for it. Your cutsie field trips with constant setbacks and delays was never tolerated by us. We didn't take no for an answer anywhere. Again, you only make money when your wheels are rolling. Roll more.... ice skate less.

I drive motor coaches and always wonder like for instance did you shut down in the parking lot ? Nothing around restrooms , food ect. Why not go to nearest Walmart or truck stop. I’ve seen trucks shut down as I travel in the most weird off the wall places. I’d be stopping at where things are available. Inquiring minds like to know. Different world you guys operate at from us OTR bus drivers

It would be hilarious if you actually ran into me if you delivered to the tractor supply that is just north of where I live. I am actually usually pretty easy to spot since I usually have at least two radios hooked onto my belt and sometimes three of them.

We drove as a team. We mastered avoiding all delays and quickly were making $4,000 after taxes every week long haul. We always had drop and hook and never allowed dispatch to stop us for anything. You guys are like kids on a field trip probably not making any more than 1,200 a week combined. That's sad.
