- Greetings fellow Enfield Bullet fans!
Here's my first youtube video of the 2nd bench test run of my project- a 700cc Enfield Bullet based V twin using 2 350 top ends. From sketches on paper to designing, numerous changes, 3d CAD modeling, printing drawings, building all the patterns myself, getting them cast, then machining everything myself (that began about a year ago-learnt everything as I went along) till this wonderful day (23rd JAN, about 2:00 in the morning!), it has been about 5 years! A dream from heady college days seems to be coming true, unable to sleep. Next step is installing it in the test bike, frame stretched. If you all know about the Norcroft and Carberry Enfields and are wondering why I did this anyway, well, too much time, effort and dreaming had been done when I heard of them, so inspite of some major discouragement that the enfield V twin had already been done by professionals, I decided to plough ahead anyway. NO REGRETS! Watch out for some more videos from me with info on the motor, test rides etc. coming soon!

Hey you guys!
Seeing all your comments after waking up really made my day! Thank you!
I need this engine can you sale me this engine
That's really awesome and satisfying, I always dreamt of making something like that, glad you did it
I just read an article about you in the Columbus Dispatch, then spent an hour on your website and CZcams. Wow. Hats off to you, man. You obviously put insane amounts of research into this project, and pulled off something that not many people have the skills or patience to finish.
So now you're a professional too, after going through all this amazing work! I've been working with old Mercedes-Benz buses for 30 years and I really admire you! In India you would be called an Ustad,a master...
Aniket, I am just so appreciative or your excitement on this project. You are like a small child on christmas morning who got a new gameboy. I love it, keep up the good work and enjoy the ride.
Energy is not wasted. It is being transformed into special effects. And that is a good thing.
IMPRESSED!!! Often home-built engines look just that....home built. Not here! This unit looks and runs great, and I look foward to seeing a completed bike. Keep up the good work mate!!
next to the word COOL in the dictionary should be a picture of you and your bike !!! What an accomplishment! You go man
Congratulations man...you've designed an awesome engine. I have always loved the style of the Enfield Bullet. the single cylinder engine is the downside I couldn't take. Being an American and accustomed to large displacement V-twins the single cylinder thump just doesn't cut it for me. Your engine has a fantastic sound. it sounds like a good ole American V-twin. I love it!!!
Actually, it sounds more like a good old English V-Twin - think HRD Vincent or Brough Superior!
really bro,,,i watched this video lots of time...the thump and roar of this engine gives goose bumps....really awesome research and outcome of ur efforts
Islamic speaches not carberry its Musket Vtwin by Aniket, A Indian Architect Engineer ... lol carberry is from Australia i think. If m not wrong.
TY for the video ! You have single handedly created a V-Twin bike engine that is more visually appealing & aethstetic than Harley Davidson has since the panhead. Absolutley Beautifull !!! I wish I could build a bobber based on your engine, it'd be the closest I or many other motorcyclists could come to creating their vintage dream bike & still have the benefit of it being modern & access to plentifull spare parts. Enfield should hire you to create a twin for them to produce
best sound ever heard...thank you SirG
THAT my friend.. is "THE BEST" modification of a Royal Enfield out there in the world.
I have a 1956 700cc royal enfield "Indian" Trailblazer. Not too many people know what a neutral finder is anymore . Nice video. Love the sound of that engine.
it sounded like a tabla in the beginning!! ( Indian music instrument) then changed into a wild unleashed monster!!! love it man.
this is fantastic. i've watched this video many times because it is truly inspirational. it definitely shows you have a passion for something and you can see it in your eyes and reactions! the motor sounds great!
OUT - FREAKING - STANDING!. Can't wait for the video of it in the bike and on the road.
Congratulations.
Hey, AA here. Once again, great job! Glad to see there have been so many views and comments! I will be there with the camera again when you take your first ride on the Enfield 700!
Why do i return to this page everytime ?I must have viewed it a 1000 times already. I learnt the answer today. its because listening to this engine is like therapy. Great job Aniket.
Hope we all will be able to drive around someday in a production version of bike you worked so hard on.
That's a great piece of engineering & the engine sounds fantastic.

Hey Aniket ... great stuff ... the RE will never be the same again. You've shown what it takes to be a great designer. Best of luck with the V twin.
Mr. G
Absolutely Amazing!! Enfield oughta go mainstream with V-Twins.
This is the coolest thing I have ever seen.
Sounds great and looks neat
Awesome sound. I live in Cincinnati and I bought my Bullet about a year ago after coming back from a trip to India. As powerful as the 500cc single is, I've always dreamed of a twin. Now that I know what it sounds like, I want one even more! Good luck with the project!
Good on yah, mates! Very well done. It's got a beautiful cadence, and and gnarly growl...
Awesome! exactly what every bullet should have. Nice work

With Respect:
I rarely post CZcams comments, but I about shat my pants when I saw this. Even though I'm a Harley owner, I've always had a soft spot for Enfields and Nortons. Dude, I'm blown away! Not only is that incredibly cool, but it sounds awesome! Great job!
It's been my experience the people who criticize your decision to try something are oftentimes armchair quarterbacks who do not have the guts to actually TRY something new in the real world.
Awesome Job!
Cheers!

Hi!
Thanks so much!
Am in Columbus Ohio. I designed it to just fit into the stock enfield frame stretched with modified engine mounting plates-its installed right now, awaiting a few final things. But ofcourse, a new frame would be quite cool too, maybe the next project?
Thanks!!
