Superba, a dir poco superba, interpretazione del capolavoro del divo Leonardo Leo. La voce e il pathos interpretativo di Silvia Frigato ci trasportano nel paradiso di Leo. Il Maestro Antonio Puccio, grazie ad una sapiente direzione orchestrale, secondo me assai aderente al dettato dell'autore, ci accompagna in questo viaggio. Siete bravissimi!! Leo, a mio avviso, è sicuramente uno dei più grandi musicisti di tutti i tempi, forse solo l'incommensurabile Pergolesi lo può superare.

To wykonanie przywraca blask muzyce religijnej.
Antonio Puccio to jeden z najlepszych dyrygentów muzyki barokowej jakiego znam. Silvia Frigato to unikatowy sopran (taka delikatność w głosie), ponadto nie słyszałam, aby ktoś lepiej śpiewał tekst łaciński, z taką dykcją. Orkiestra bez zarzutów. Całość doskonała. Kompozytor to Leonardo Ortensio Salvatore de Leo (05. 08.1694 - 31.10.1744). Był on włoskim kompozytorem, organistą i nauczycielem, przedstawicielem szkoły neapolitańskiej w muzyce.

Great voice. Great musicians. Impeccable performance. Leonardo Leo: The greatest composer of music ever after Pergolesi. Just my personal opinion. I was happy that the instruments were doubled up. Leo sounds good with a small company of five or six. But adding some makes it more full. Leo: The first musician to fully master counterpoint. Like Isaac Newton was the first to master the physical laws of the universe. Leo Depuydt PS I like the fact that the rehearsal was also put on CZcams. PPS The conductor has an association with Claudio Abbado, who delivered a 3-CD tribute to Pergolesi in 2010 before passing away recently. The stars are beginning to align after 300 years to propel Pergolesi and Leo into the stratosphere of the history of western civilization. It is the dawning of a new age.
