Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet.

What a load of rubbish. It all depends on the interpretation. What one person thinks can influence others into liking or not. I have lived this with John Lennon's Imagine. My anthem for a lot of decades until someone pointed out just last year the communistic ideals of the words. It put a stop for me liking it as much. Oh yeah then we had all those rich buggers singing their bits on tiktoc or some such all mashed into together. Hated that.

@@gardengnome3249 sorry to hear it. I am thinking that while the ideals expressed may be communistic and maybe even intended that way…not sure John Lennon would see it that way today but…???? Those ideals are beautiful and need not only be communistic….Honestly, they may be communist “talking points “ but communism has never really lived up to those ideals any more than capitalism does. Hopefully, though that way you may regain some sense of the love for humanity that the song suggests without the political baggage.I am thinking if the “Nothing to kill or die for “ line to support that as evidence of its apolitical possibility.
Damn, that dude Clarence can sing! But the highlight for me in all these videos is Roberto's awesome bottleneck playing. The three of you and the dozens of others who have taken part in this extraordinary PFC effort deserve the highest form of praise and gratitude for those of us, so blessed to be connected to you. Playing for Change has brought great talent to all people around the globe. It is just amazing how much love and enjoyment can be had just sharing gifts of talent. Some have passed, more to come. The people of the world are showing their true colors LOVE

Clarence Bekker has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard. A few years ago PFC was playing live in Phoenix. My wife and I arrived early and as we were walking across the parking lot I heard someone singing, basically going through scales and it sounded like it was right next to me. I looked around and there is Clarence, about 100 yards away! What a voice!

O cara solta uma voz que tem tamanho suficiente para preencher o espaço todo com muita clareza, ainda canta sentado pra mostrar que não faltam forças nestes pulmões abençoados.
