Yerry seemed to surf on the beat, the tune of his voice and how long he pronunicated words..matched the music perfectly imo.
The first singer, sol, I felt he was jet skiing on the beat compared to surfing. He was pushing passed the lyrics even if it didn't flow well with the beat.
Imo yerry just sounded more pleasing to the ears. But music is all bias so who cares what I think haha

But the thing that most appeal to me in Sol's version is that I feel he's on border of insanity and desperation. It's a hard listen because it brings back bad memories and sadness. Very few covers bring me strong emotions so I have to give it to him.

I think so many people miss the soul of this song- when they sing it. And the third didnt- i always feel like when i see other people sing this song other than gnarles they are missing that “something” of maybe pain and confusion but also understanding is th way i can describe it. But the third guy gets it- he sings it best
