    Thanks for this video, I’ve been trying to figure this out for the past week. Didn’t know I had to push it forwards then use it. Also didn’t know about the light delay, I swear today it was on for a minute and after checking to see if it was still on, I just turned off the lights completely

      Thank you for the feedback! Ensure that the switch is set to “auto” and that the lever is then pushed forward. If you accidentally pull the lever back to the neutral position then the auto high beams won’t operate.
      Also, make sure fog lights are turned off 👍

    • @lifewithjo5
      @lifewithjo5  Před 3 lety +1

      Depending on your vehicle, you will have ambient lighting settings in the drivers assistance display that can adjust brightness for your ambient lights. Or it maybe located in the centre console for the adjustment. Then you can leave the stalk in auto for the auto headlights 👍

    Hello mate, I have a problem with these automatic front headlights on my 2017 T32 x trail. The headlights as you probably know are fully automatic and the height or position of the headlights can’t be adjusted ‘manually’ like in other or older cars. The problem I have is that when driving at night the headlights move down to the lowest position/level there is and it is basically impossible to see anything ahead of me without full main beams on as the headlight are pretty much pointing towards straight at the ground. From what I know so far it could be a levelling issue from the linkages underneath the car which control the position of the headlights. If you have a solution for this problem then please do let me known.

      Thank you for the question!
      I spoke with a good friend and service tech manager about this to confirm what could be done and he stated that this kind of thing is typically brought in to a service department to have adjusted manually (levelled), about 0.5 hours to do for a technician for this adjustment. Hope this helps and thank you for the feedback/view! Cheers!

      Thanks for the message Loki! I think depending on where you’re buying the car, Canada/United States etc. it will vary which options you have available but in my experience working with Nissans in Canada, you won’t have intelligent high beam assist until 2019 models.

    • @lifewithjo5
      @lifewithjo5  Před rokem +1

      You shouldn’t need to switch them off of auto. A few technicians I’ve worked with have said to physically hit the lock button on your key fob to help turn off accessories and have less of the tech active while the vehicle is off so that you save batter but I’m not sure how true or accurate that is. But again, auto headlights should be fine to have leave on auto.

    Kindly wanted to ask how do l turn on my day time running lights

    • @lifewithjo5
      @lifewithjo5  Před 9 měsíci

      Depending on which vehicle and the year, you might have automatic daytime running lights but you need to be in drive to check. If you have to manually turn them on then it would likely be the left stalk/lever by the steering wheel, the end of the lever you would spin to engage the lights. Hope this helps!

    • @lifewithjo5
      @lifewithjo5  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I do believe it’s standard to have fog lights on the Sentra SV. Typically the fog lights are on the headlight stalk closer to the steering wheel column and the headlights need to be activated for the fog lights to work.
      Here’s a link with some clarification that might help.
