Note this is a legal and registered fire arm, i have a type1 license issued by our FEO - Sport
I just won the exact same piece on GunBroker for $531.00. Your video helped me in my decision making process thank you. I already own two other Filipino 1911's so this will make the Third. They are excellent quality, I am very happy with them. Since I have three now I guess I have to call them The Three Amigos 😁.
Man they are really good! in our country here in the Philippines they are hard to find if ever there are stocks they do sell like pancakes! Trivia the company that makes them were commissioned years back making STI 1911, not exactly sure the year but might be 80s or 90s

@@tnh723 thank you chap. Casino Royale was portrayed by Mr Daniel Craig in 2006. I had been long retired as 007 by that time. As you know I passed away May 23rd of 2017, I am so glad I have CZcams as a medium so I can still communicate with my fans.
@@TheOutdoorMonkey lol you mean "sell like hotcakes" 😁. It doesn't surprise me that STI would contract one of the Filipino manufacturers for their 1911s. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the machining of these firearms that's why I have purchased three from the Philippines. Cost wasn't really a concern although I can't justify spending over a certain amount for a firearm (or just a name) especially a handgun, cost doesn't always necessarily indicate quality and the Filipino 1911s are a perfect example of this great work! I actually considered a Kimber for twice the amount of money as my American classic II, but after comparing everything and weighing everything out I obviously decided to go with yet my third Filipino 1911 the American classic 2 in hard Chrome. The only changes I have made to it is I have upgraded The recoil and firing pin spring to a wolf 18 and a half pound match set (in my opinion the stock firing pin spring was a bit on the weak side). I've also upgraded the grips, saved the original ones, I plan on inlaying some medallions where the Metro arms logo is engraved eventually when I find the correct medallions, I really do like the look of the fish scale on the grips. I do have one question for you. I have heard that in the hammer where they have that decoration or design somehow the M and the A for Metro arms is in there but I for the life of me cannot make it out it looks like a spider web to me. Is the M and A actually in the hammer design? And if so could you point it out because to me it must be some kind of an optical illusion if I can't see it. Thanks!

No issues at all, shot about 500 rounds as of today
need to add stabilizer (P800-900). got mine and probably they will release it by next week. 20% off this July so it just costs me around 24K + stabilizer and reg fee.

You can easily change it. Designs are available in gun stores.
You can buy aftermarket grips, but the stock grips are good and distinct
