Habakkuk 2:3b "Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." can be translated as - Although it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come, it won't delay. The timing of God is perfect. Man prefers instant gratification. To Sarah, it took a long time to have a son, and so Ishmael was born. Saul couldn't wait for Samuel, and he offered the sacrifice. Mary and Martha thought they had lost their brother, Lazarus. Yet, a seed takes time to germinate, some 3 days, some years. Although we don't see growth immediately when we plant the seed, change and growth, go on underground before the corn seedling or oak seedling sprouts. God is ALWAYS on time. In Habakkuk 2: 3, God asks us to be patient and trust Him as He works out His promises. Psalm 46:10a Be still, and know that I am God:
