Great short video, finally someone who shows great video of why the mavic zoom is called the mavic zoom. It would of been nice if you had posted in 4k, that would really of shown the finer details, for people that dont know how good the zoom is when it is used for zooming to see stuff from a safe distance.
Thanks for the demonstration. I'm awaiting delivery of a Mavic Zoom myself. This may sound critical but have you considered, with people's fears about drones invading privacy, whether zooming in on a group of school children is a great demonstration? This choice of subject could fuel ammunition against the hobby when there is already enough paranoia.
No, I didn't consider your concerns. I guess someone might imply devious intent but I would think safety, not crashing over a group of children, would be the first concern, and keeping a safe distance using zoom is better. My grandson is the same age group as the school kids and I really did not see this video as anything but innocent.
Great video. How do you zoom 4x ? I know that we can do 2x optical zoom and I heard that after the update we are able to add 2x digital zoom. I made the update but I can't get more than 2x (24-48mm). Any idea ? Thanks
@@tonygriffis Yes I've tried in 1080p and didn't work. After differents settings, I've found out that it's only working in 30fps(and less). I was using 60fps. That's the reason. Too bad that the 4x zoom isn't working above 1080p 30fps. But thanks for your reply.

I don't know why, have you tried it in 1080p?
