@@tonygriffis Haha! It was a trip watching and trying to figure out, nice job, and nice bike! I put close to 150k miles between 3 Goldwing's before finally selling my last one. Great video also on the Mavic 2 distance test, that was what caught my attention, AMAZING 3.25 miles, I had no idea they'd go out that far, I had a return home on my Phantom 2 several years ago at a little over 1/4 mile, been skittish about letting mine get out of sight, but looks like it'll go waaay further than I'm going to need, GREAT video!!

So far so good, it's fun flying. Still learning the app. I wish the map plane icon was more pointed so I could tell the direction of the drone, its too hard to orient when I want to return home. I wish the controller had a zoom button like my Mavic2 Zoom, it's not very smooth zooming in and out. Battery life is good but more like 30 minutes usable. I got it for quick easy deployment when traveling, and no geo fencing. It's quiet, and easy to hand launch and catch... easier than the DJIs but not as easy as the Skydio2. I still can't get the app to install on my CrystalSky, even though the Autel Exporer will. Also won't install on my Epsons... Oh well, the CrystalSky won't work on the Mavic3 either, even though it's DJIs premier screen. The quickshots are very basic compared to DJI, with no adjustments for height or distance. Hopefully Autel will improve this when they add active track in a future firmware. Also, the video is very good, but for my purposes, mostly youtube, it's overkill - my Mavic is just fine. I think you will like your new Autel Evo Lite I don't know why I have an American female voice, perhaps Autel sent you the UK version? Maybe it will change when you put it in the USA air.

Thanks for the reply. I bought it as a backup to my Mavic 2 Pro that I use for a lot of my commercial work. I couldn’t justify the cost of the M3P or the Evo 2, especially given all the complaints. The Lite will take a little getting used to and like you, I hope the Sky app improves and gives us more features. Being a backup, I can do without some of what the Lite doesn’t have, but there’s room for improvement. I’m happy with the photo and video quality, though. Happy flying….

Just wondering what drone you like better the mavic 3 or Lite Plus ?. im torn between the two and heard the mavic 3 isnt worth the price tag and still has gps problems ?. Would you say the image on the lite plus is sharper than the mavic 3. Because im really liking the image on this drone.

@@silverpro8356 I would wait on the Mavic 3 until the gps issue is resolved. Autel increased the price on the Lite+ by $200, to $1849, so if they add on sales tax (which dji doesn't do to me) then the Mavic 3 starts looking better, especially with the better zoom and range. However, if geo fencing is a concern, then I would go with Autel. So far as camera comparisons the Mavic has the edge, but for CZcams it really doesn't make any difference… and the low light image of the Autel is great.

@@tonygriffis over here in australia the Autel lite+ is $2200 for standard pack and the mavic 3 is $3100 so its about $900 more than the Autel lite +.

The Glyphs are excellent. However, I haven't used mine in a long time, been flying with the Crystal Sky monitor. I think I will get my Glyphs out and try them again.
