This is 100% right. Also, when you have kids, some people level up and others fall into yelling about everything. A blade is only sharpened against something harder than itself if you hold it properly.

Good stuff! Really insightful comments regarding the difference between what you experience and reality. I summarize it all like this: How you think effects how you feel and vice versa. And how you think and feel both influence the actions you take (or don’t take). All together, how you think, feel and act is the biggest influence a person can posses in shaping your individual life experience. It is an enormous power that you can cultivate and strengthen and meditation (or mindfulness) are good ways to do that.

I have a friend who is what I would call ‘ super spiritual’ . I have watched him however become more and more completely miserable. He rarely laughs anymore, his eyes are empty and sad, he is becoming more and more withdrawn. He seems to be completely rejecting his ‘ human’ as I call it. He has been celibate for a few years , he has given up every single thing that can bring joy ( hobbies, socialising, films etc) , and is spending most of his time chanting, meditating and working his part time job ( in which he continues to chant Hare Krishna ) . For someone that seems to be seeking the relief from suffering he looks like he is suffering all the time. This saddens me . He is rejecting life because in his words it just disappoints him and it will never be truly satisfying. I asked him if he thinks his path may be to enter into monkhood or the like then. Where he could renounce this life and give it to God if that is what he feels is his true mission. But he continues to hesitate to renounce completely. It’s horrible to see him like this. I wonder if he can ever see that there is a way to be ‘spiritual’ and still be human and have an enjoyable life . I’m new to your channel and I resonate deeply with your words.

Boston housing is horrible at the moment - we are a high migrant immigration location so we have hotels full of people and I write to the officials who really have no timeline for catching up with the problem - there were luxury condos for sale or rent everywhere and estimates are that 1/5 of all apartments are "investments" and are empty

Your cadence is very relaxing. The world does have an inert system imbedded within. Sacrifice and reward. Restraint and fulfillment and so on. You’re tapping into a very real ordered organism that has natural derivatives. Good or bad. The only thing you’re missing is supreme evil and good. Jesus is the one true way. The world still operates under the system of the Ten Commandments. Justice and morality. Most people are lead astray by a myriad of systems that are devised by men that are a derivative approximating these laws. Hence true results will be experienced. May I recommend listening to a messianic Jew local to you for guidance. Baruch Korman of love Israel is full of insight. If you have reservations in faith in Christ because it seems implausible that a supreme good would allow atrocities or to persecute people for unknowable reasons? Open your mind to see that a supreme judge is totally necessary for true order and lasting peace to exist.
Consider listening to or reading Neville Goddard.

5 minutes of this video are enough to understand you know nothing about THE reality. Practical spirituality is simply a junk for poor souls. You may need to watch a few videos of Jonathan Kleck. Then you may, you may not understand THE reality. It's a matter of given or not given to you, it's not for everybody. One needs to have a working brain to perceive THE TRUTH first of all...Good luck!
