It won’t really be a race though…these cars though great for us to watch are about as similar as an SUV and a Micra lol. The majority of races share some sort of common ground (e.g horsepower, or dimensions, cost to build etc) if this was a racing series it would basically be won by the guy with biggest bank balance……where as in real racing as shown in the past this isn’t always the case.

These sorts of cars would be far too slow for Le Mans.
@@cmbunit01 Not really the GT1 Sports club Cars are faster than the GT2. And GT2 has nearly the Speed of GT3 Cars. I say this cars has the same Pace as GTLM
@@cmbunit01 Why so? The Alpine which is the old LMP1 cars if not heavily reduced the performance by BOP would have win LM24 this year........and never hybrid cars will be even slower!

No, it‘s not really a Mercedes V12. Its a HWA-Engine. Hans werner Aufrecht was the Founder of AMG and HWA is „his“ Company for Engineering, Racing and similar. So there can‘t be found any AMG or Mercedes Batch at this Huayra R Engine.

Ive heard lambos in person and i can confidently say those have been some loud experience. The fact that the pagani dwarfs the lambo sound in this video is something hard for me to comprehend
Hearing a Huracan STO speeding up in person for the first time was quite an exciting experience for me, it filled me with adrenaline for almost 10 minutes lol. Hearing all these beauties, especially the Huayra R's is something I can't comprehend too. I would pass out from all the excitement, or I would be too happy to even stand still and not jump a lot

As much as i share your desire for that to happen , i don't think it would be rational since the endurance prototypes are specifically built for that race , these however are more of a sensational ultra expensive track missiles .

@@barkyonyx962 first year at lemans the merc got beat by porsche, nissan, mclaren, panoz ect. then they all pulled out the series hence why merc went on to win everything after that. but years later they dropped the series in favour of gt3 because of the running costs of gt1 and poor entry numbers

Soon as I saw the Pagani the first thing I said is they don't have the capacity to produce those at the frequency to supply a racing division. Imagine how long it would take t get replacement parts for one of those if you crashed it racing wheel to wheel or even just riding the curbs for a faster laptime ...

i think these are the type of races where brands can create there own racing history if they haven't and prove their grounds . like if lamborghini wants to create some podium history they should start from this but they are starting i have seen some official cars in some races
I wish there was an official GT1 category in the WEC. I would love to see hypercar power at places like Portimao, Fuji, Le Mans, etc..

@@dennismichealsm3786 Some of these cars sound like the stereotypical sound of F1 back with the old logo, I don't know what you're talking about. The 9x8, 963 and V-LMDh sound great, same goes for Ferrari's upcoming LMDh.
@@sakuya1185 lmao all these cars are turbocharged and are electric hybrids.. you must be very young..go watch some old Peugeot race cars videos or GROUP C cars in general.. turbocharged cars are fast but when it comes to sound they're garbage.. N/A engines rules when it comes to sound..I drive a 2008 M3 and I will never sale it nor trade it in for the newest ones ..yes they're way faster (because of turbos) and yes they have more tech but when it comes to looks and sounds the my E92 looks and sounds 10x better..and it's the same like these so called LMH LMDH cars they're faster but they all look the same and sound the same (except for the 9x8 so far it has a unique look) but it sounds like the rest..they mostly have a similar engine..hell even their liveries look the same (except for the Peugeot cause it has a grey and acid green livery)

The amount of sportscars but mostly supercars and "hypercars" sold higher than ever before, it's a shame that there's no proper GT1 class with all those Paganins, Koeniggseggs, Ferraris, Lambos, etc... I can spit out 10 models from top of my head that would make great ultimate GT racers so cost of rolling in, especially comparing to the overall sales would be really a drop with two cars racing or even 5 concurrent chasis ready per season... I bet for most, even the smallest manufacturers the starting amount of 15mil per team/season would be enonugh. Could also double for endurance
