    LYRICS:
    Holy words long preserved
for our walk in this world,
They resound with God's own heart.
Oh let the ancient words impart
Words of Life, words of Hope
Give us strength, help us cope
In this world, where e'er we roam
Ancient words will guide us Home.
    CHORUS:
    Ancient words ever true
    Changing me and changing you,
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart
    Holy words of our Faith
    Handed down to this age
    Came to us through sacrifice
Oh heed the faithful words of Christ.
    Holy words long preserved
For our walk in this world.
They resound with God's own heart
Oh let the ancient words impart.
    CHORUS
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart

@09patrico 1 peter 3:21: it's not all about the water, even though it is a part. this verse along with Romans 6:4-6 explain baptism's true purpose and design. and i agree, you can be dipped in water and still go to hell...that's why you are suppose to "walk in newness of life" (Rom 6:4-6)

baptismal regeneration? I don't recall the Bible teaching that but I do recall the Bible saying," Baptism, which corresponds to this, "now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, "through the resurrection of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 3:21 We are saved through the message of the Gospel, because it's the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes." Romans 1:16 Timmy I pray you understand this after 2 years. We love you!

Baptism alone does not save, nor does any other part mentioned in the Bible. See that all parts working together are what makes us whole. Belief, Faith, confession of Jesus name, Baptism(immersion), Grace.

Saved by many parts, but a part away from the whole are just parts and not whole. Saved by belief, faith, grace, confession of Christ, immersion(baptism). Not saved by works, however, faith without works is dead, (James).
