Dating in Japan is hard and I made some experiences in the past, which proof that. From cultural differences between Japanese and Germans, to weird personalities and people, who look or don't look at you for the whole date. I have met a lot of different people on dates, and I decided to talk about it. I don't want to complain! I really enjoy my life in Japan. Just dating is really difficult and in these videos, I only talk about the weirdest experiences I made. I met some very normal people too. Hope you like this video. I've got one more left and then the year is nearly over.

It sounds like you're being really polite on the dates (which is normal for first dates) and these Japanese men are being too forward and direct because you're not Japanese. You can afford to be picky. I think it's great that you're giving so many of these men a chance and I'm sure you'll find the right guy eventually. By the way, that's a really nice cream jumper.

Since you're able to look back on bad dates/relationships and laugh about them now, yes. It's an interesting topic. If I may put in one tiny request, try to date people willing to be in your videos. (More like Kiwi and Bear, less like Jenn and "T"). Thanks for everything, Tina.
For me, after seeing the usual content from you over the past year or so, it’s nice to see the ‘other’ side of a content creator I like. I wish more CZcamsrs I follow did this occasionally.

I've watched all three videos in this series so far. All I can say is that I'm old, and things have really changed since my dating days. Technology such as texting, and online sites with potential matches have changed dating dynamics a lot, and I'm not sure it's for the better at all. I'm glad you're doing this "dating" series. I've learned a lot about dating in Japan these days, and your videos have given me some insights into you as well. I look forward to episode 4 of season 1.
Thank you. I'm pretty sure a lot has changed. I'm not super young anymore either, and I've seen so many things change. And I definitely don't like many things about dating or online dating nowadays. :)

Oh boy, you've surely seen all sorts of weirdness... waiting for part 2 for the apparently even weirder one. 😅 I wonder, have you dated any foreigns who also live in Japan or would you possibly do so if a suitable opportunity came? Would you feel it would be easier from the cultural perspective etc. 🤔
I texted with some foreigners and met one or two of them. But this didn't go well either. It's easier for me to find topics to talk about with foreigners, bc you can always talk about Japan. But there are in fact things about dating Japanese I like too. I don't really care about which country someone is from. I don't even care if it's a man or women. I would date women too if I meet the right person.
@@tinahuegel Attractive, fluent in German, English and Japanese, open to both genders, still hasn't found a good match, and has enough stories to fill four videos. The average gaijin doesn't stand a chance.

@@SumoCurtain Not yet. Dating women in Japan is even harder imo. And atm I don't really look bc having a family and maybe children is sth I think about too. Which would be so much harder if I start to date women now.

American guys often lie about their height, too. When they say 5'9", they are 99% my height at 5'6". 🤨
Also, the older they are (over 45), the older the pics on their profiles, and they look VERY different (usually have a beer belly or in bad health). And some have the audacity/nerve to say how "young" I look and act "for" a 50+ woman, but it must be because I'm part Japanese, blah blah blah. 🤯😱🥵
