Thank you!
This was a fun video to watch! Venice looked really pretty actually especially with the nice weather. Great info too 🙂
Thank you! That means a lot from a fellow CZcamsr 🥰✨
I think it's bc it's off season! 🤔
@@tinahuegel it looked like you put a lot of work into it, at least it would take me a long time to make such a video 😊
@@SincerelyRaman Yeah, I try to do more quality on CZcams now and focus on regularity on IG and Tiktok. Which is not so good for my channel atm, but maybe it makes sense in the long run. I am trying hard to get the SEO right and look at analytics which takes extra time. :)
Really nice vlog! Thank you for sharing 🙏
Been there many, many years ago..
Thank you 😊🙏✨
Very very nice place!!
Right choice to go in Venice!!
It's nice yes. Wouldn't want to go during peak season though:)
Your pronunciation is good, don't worry. I'm so happy you liked Venice, it's my favourite city worldwide! I'm from that area, I try to visit at least once a year and there's always something new to see. Getting lost in the small alleys is also fun and might get you to quieter, nontouristic areas. If it's your first time, I would definitely visit the Basilica di San Marco and the Campanile, the view from there is phenomenal!
Thank you! Haha. I really liked it, yes. But how is it in the summer, during peak season? I was thinking it was good, that I went in April and that it won't be as nice in the summer. But I can't compare. Anyway, great city! :)
@@tinahuegel I'd say mid-November would be the only time when it's not that much crowded, but Venice is a super popular destination and you went right after the Easter holidays, so probably that's why. In summer it's definitely worse tho.
@@EllieDi Oh I see. Yes, it was after Easter. :)
Just curious if u have a video on how you got started with traveling and what you did to afford it. I'm sure once your channel grows larger it makes it much easier
I have been saving and preparing this trip for about one year. I posted a video on how I did on IG 😊✨
been to venice before and the main impression was that it has a smell ^^; and very touristy...
Well, try the off season.😊 It's probably nicer. I was there in April. 😊
thanks for the video, where did you book for the gondola? locally? I assume not all gondolas drive the same (and best) route for the tourists
Hi! :) I booked it on get your guide.
Great video,
Venice sounds as expensive as Paris
Cheers
Thanks!! 😊✨ Most cities in Europe are really expensive. 🥲
Hi Thank you for sharing your video, very informative , I am planing a trip to Venice this coming December , can you recommend any reasonble hotel or Airbnb . thanks in advance
Hi :) As I mention in the video, I stayed at a couchsurving place because you won't find anything reasonable in Venice. Try to look in Mestre, not in Venice. But Italy is no where close to reasonable in my opinion :)
@@tinahuegel Noted , thank you & appreciate for your reply
@@alexwong9888 I hope you find something. :D Try also to look as early as possible and to go during off-season to safe money.
I was in Venice in autumn 2020 because everybody said it's super empty compared to usually. It was so crowded, I can't imagine it being even more crowded. Bell Tower line was super long. I think I waited for almost an hour to get up there. Did you go to Burano and those smaller villages as well? :)
Oh wow. I was told it's less crowded in autumn. But then I've seen other places where you have to wait for probably more then one hour. I just went to Istanbul and the lines in front of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are insane!
I didn't go to Burano, mainly to save money (I wanted to go though). :) I would definetely explore more, if I had the money to do so. :) but those boat tickets are expensive.
@@tinahuegel I'm sure it was less crowded during 2020 in general, but still ... especially those small narrow streets were still so full. Insane! I know, I usually also travel on a budget. I didn't do all the things in Venice either, but picked the ones I really wanted to do. I went there by my own car from Germany with various stops in South Tyrol and Gardasee ;P ... why? Because it was risky to fly at that time and you never knew when and if they would close the borders again, so I stayed within reach of the German border so I could drive back home within a day. Venice was as far down as I went. On my last day - as it was rainy - I wanted to go to a spa, booked a slot and then they informed me that just that day they had to close down due to new Covid rules... so frustrating. Luckily those days are over and hopefully will never come again!
@@zoomingjapan That sounds like an exciting trip :D Even though during Covid, it was more difficult. It's great that you still did it. And yes, finally those days are over. I stayed in Japan during that time bc I didn't dare to leave (it was unclear if they would let me get back into Japan ... or at least it felt very difficult to me and I didn't want to risk leaving). Anyway, that's for sure one reason why I'm travelling now so much! :)
@@tinahuegel I know, I've been following you for a long time now. ;) I used to live in Japan for 7 years, was also there in 2011 when Fukushima happened, left in late 2014 / early 2015. Went back to Japan several times on private and business related trips. Decided to take a Japan break in 2019 and then Covid hit .. haha .. but I used that downtime to travel a lot in Europe, so I've also been to some of the places you've been to, e.g. Andalucia. :)
The place is really beautiful, but would living there be nice?
I don't think so tbh. 🥲 But I think Venice is more tourists at this point.
Sono davvero stupito e meravigliato, mai avrei potuto immaginare che a Venezia i prezzi sono più cari che altrove. Mi chiedo il perchè ?
Prices are expensive everywhere in Europe. That's normal :)
@@tinahuegel ok il mio commento era ironico chiaramente
@@claudiofoiadelli8721Then try to write it in a language I speak? Sorry I didn't get the nuance with google translate lol
@@claudiofoiadelli8721dont try to act ironic and talk big if u cant even speak or comment on the language she's speaking on HER own video buggers😒
