Continuation to a great trip! Thanks for letting us tag along!
That's a proper fishing adventure! You deserve to find some massive trout after that much effort. Loving this series and looking forward to Friday's episode.
Simply one of the best videos of back country fishing I have seen! Thankyou so much Alex for bringing us such experiences. One day Covid will be gone and we will be back, sadly a little too old now to bushwack that far up into the bush.
Adrian.
Rewatching, for lack of an alternative. Still superb!
Editing a new one this week bro..
Oh man, you have chosen a beautiful hiking trail. But a cool video to show also this side without great fly fishing. Thanks Alex.
Absolutely awesome, thank you for sharing.
Epic!! You’re respect and compassion for your mate’s misses shows your class and maturity as a person. 🙏 it’s all about the team 👊
Thanks for packing all the video gear, great footage and adventure
Gosh, like wandering through Jurassic Park, but without the big critters. Awesome video!
awesome fishing adventure there, fully watched it
There is a pretty good track on the other side for Doc to service the traps
Crazy fun!!!
Ready!!!!
Great video. After a week or so of -30C. Some hiking and fishing is nice to watch. Thanks
That was awesome! That bipod idea is gold. I will do that.
Adventures of the fishin magician and the river ninja!
Great viewing, inspiring stuff, loving the wild camping detail, looking forward to next instalment!
That was some crazy hiking to get to your spot! Totally awesome! Cool DIY structure… Looking forward to Friday…
Another great video Alex your a tease 🐟🎣🏴🏴😂😂
You’ve really gotta take your hat off to Alex & JP for this mission, I’d struggle one hour yet alone five hours hahaha.. legends
Lovely river. Enjoyed watching the trip to it. Looking forward to seeing you guys catching some nice browns.
Seriously love your videos mate. You’re a good solid empathetic bloke. That back country stuff is just absolutely stunning scenery, was in that area in July, so keen to get back.
Too right Alex!
My knees hurt just watching the trip in. Can’t wait for Part 3 👍
I love your videos and your land!!!
What a relaxing camping trip! Epic views and trout, what more could you ask for in life! Love it man! Great video!
Man, this makes me want to go do a big backcountry trip so bad. But here in Colorado it’s winter 😢
Bi-pod set up was fantastic! I have done that one on a trip for native brook trout in the mountains and it was a game changer. Leaned it from my Dad was in the U.S. Air Force. Looking forward to the next episode of this trip! Cheers to you and J.P.!
I love that you know and enjoyed that part of the episode. So much more to those kind of trips than just catching fish aye💪
Too right Alex!
Love this type of videos Alex
Awesome job fellas!!! I absolutely love the bushcraft bipod shelter, genius idea! Good fishing and tight lines till next time
HEY ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE FROM THE USA!!!! thanks for the vid bro
Never disappoint. Your videos are beyond all others.
Epic walk in, great video
Epic adventure!
Another banger
Hint for yr clothes line do same but find another stick with a v at 1 end and put in the middle, will stop the sag you can get, but looks great.
Some of those bluffs were
scary looking to cross bro
Awesome Video Alex, these series are the best. Good content and awesome effort
Kaapai video maate.. adventurous hike to say the least, ❤️it.. especially trekking thru that scrub n maanuka bush..nice bushman skills on the camp set up.. kaapai e hoa 🦾🎣🎣🤙✌️🙏Kia ora 👍
Kia Ora bro! Glad you enjoyed the camp set up….love that stuff as much as the fishing part🔥🔥
What a place
Wow. Such long day hiking for both of u. You both need a good rest and a soak lol if possible . There is one good thing to come out of all that hiking. There is FISH !!!!! IN THEM WATERS!!!!! Lol lol. Can't wait to see you both fully rested and ready to talk those browns and rainbows. Good luck. Get well fed and reasted. See you both same time same place Friday.🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🤜🤛🤜🤛👍👍🤙🤙🤟🤟
F##K sake can't read what I write lol lol. Ment to say ready to take on those browns and rainbows not TALK .....LOL LOL.
Great video!
cant w8 for next parts, thumb up from Poland! Keeep up good work!
What an amazing adventure!
I'd really be keen to know what's in your pack for a trip like this.
Wondering if the fishing has been noticeably better without so many internationals pounding the water? One would think so, especially on the easier access rivers, which these are not!
Haven’t really noticed to be honest bro….
Those inflation bags for the sleeping mats are meant to be ruffled up and just atmospheric air used, rather than blowing up direct with your mouth. the moist breath air can lead to mold etc... growing on the inside of your mattress. They are an awesome tool though, beats getting lightheaded trying to blow it up the oldschool way!
Hey what's up brother?? Bloody awesome video, absolutely love what your doing. Keep up the wicked Fishing, love your videos. Merry Christmas Alex take care brother.
It’s good to see you guys put in the hard yards. Too much trout porn paints an unrealistic picture for the newer fly fishers.
Over 10 long minutes of video before the first cast.. But I liked it! 5 hours of backpacking through the wilderness.., I guess a helicopter could have been an idea.. 😉
Already had taken a heli as far as we could….watch part 1 !! Cheers bro🤙
@@TrippinOnTrout You guys should have told the pilot the fihing spot was a litlte bit further..
Love it. Any reason why the fish in the south are so much warier than those of the north? At least that’s how I found it 12 years ago and your vids suggest it’s still the same……
There was no fishing in this video 😂
Yes there was
Alex what shades do you wear to cut out glare
Running Renegades from Skeleton Optics at the moment.
After five hours of that scramble, you should sleep well.
