Looking at a few sparring vids, Austin seems to have quick counter-punching skills. Gib on the other hand seems to have been training to take those punches, and his strategy is to apply constant pressure as compensation.

I’ve got Austin winning by points tbh, I think gib will go out there and maybe win first round as he tends to be agressive, but I think past then Austin just pieces him apart. He looked better then all the other CZcamsrs did on their first fights from what I remember and I can only imagine he got alot better since then considering he was new to the sport. His opponent Bryce hall was garbage so it obviously made him look better but he did good in that figh

I watched his fight again and realized that he has the speed and he is tricky you can't easily guess when he's going to punch , but he is not stable he runs a-lot and that's gonna make him tired so quickly, and his punches are weak , so the stoppage is not his thing and it is impossible for him because he doesn't have the power and the strength. All he got is the speed and being unpredictable , and it is good but not enough. (In my opinion)
