As a reinforcing ironworker, the guy who is installing this type of stuff, it's very nice to hear that you noticed the clearance issues found when trying to place certain details. It seems too often that these considerations like fitting the beam steel into the column are overlooked

really nice good work matey,i am trying to extend a concrete floor 4 metres outside the edge of the cliff got a river down bellow,,as i got no much land ,also i can't use pillars it is too high,all i want to do now put lots of iron bars extend them to 3 to 4 mts outside and hook them at the bottom of the house for more strengh,any idea would be grateful.

I'm looking to make lift drawings/bend schedules using sketchup. I think Dynamic components (DC) might be the way to go to get started. then I'd make my own Ruby script as one advance. I'm trying to find documentation on (DC) attributes such has, can a get the bend length for the stirrup etc
your sketch is awesome,it was helpful. but at end of beam which is connected to the exterior column, the bottom bars should have extension (it should calculated by development length formula and provision of anchored) and to be bent or anchored upward, and also, at the middle of beam, the top bars should connected by 12 mm DIA for holding tied stirrup bars. and the distance between top bars is seems to closed and not adequate for size aggregates.any way its only sketch and it might be not clear to see through video. thanks ...

why is the column bars only on the lower row in extension beyond pillars?
