I love how she explained - at one point being raised in the church isn't what defines your faith, it becomes your own relationship with God that you choose. I have felt that and trying to explain that to others has been such a struggle. Tori said it best!

Unless and until children who grow/grew up in the Church have their own experiences with GOD to bear, then their faith will always be nothing more than an extension of their parents’ faith experience. It is imperative that we bring our children into our own faith experience and continue to foster and cultivate their own faith experiences with GOD for themselves.

How a celebrity comes forth in professing their faith, is nothing short of beyond a miracle. The 'platform' and 'icon' image that Hollywood and our media likes to portray, tends to ascribe an idol-like image in our mind. Tori Kelly is a messenger of truth, in her music and in her faith. Praying that she doesn't change in the hype, the glitz, and the glamour, and stays true to herself.

I don’t use the YouVersion Bible app. It’s not as good as the Olive Tree apps I use. I also like the Accordance app, as it lets you see any word in the original Hebrew and Greek (or Aramaic) just by pressing and holding on any word.
A lady who risked it all, her whole career, that was largely made up of secular fans when she came out as a Christian. She could have lost EVERYTHING she had worked for her whole life but she didn’t care she loved God more than her career and that’s why she’s an amazing woman! If you don’t believe me look at it this way back years and years ago when the peanuts Christmas special was released they tried to get the creator of it to remove the part where Linus talks about the true meaning of Christmas, he refused of course. This world has gone down hill 1000% more since then so I couldn’t imagine the persecution Tori had to face when she chose to publicly show her faith. ❤️ May God bless her!
