- This haircut is brutal. It's hard to style, it's hard to brush, and it's hard to wear. We think it's time women know about this haircut, so that they can choose whether or not to get it done. We hope you choose not to get this hair cut, because it's torture!

I was a hairstylist for over 40 yrs, until I had to start having back surgeries. I just want you to know that these videos mean everything to me. I miss working with people & their hair so very much, but all I can do now is a couple of family members (which I'm thankful for). I just want to thank you for putting this content on the interwebs for me to live vigariously through. 💖💖💖
As I understand, dentist and hairdresser have terrible back problems, I’m so sorry for yours. We never think about sitting in the chair.
Tip: Make sure your clients legs are not crossed when cutting their hair. It will result in an uneven cut. The crossing of the legs tilts their body posture, there by putting them at a slight angle.
thank you ❤

My hairdresser never forgets to tell me.
Her hair is like torture?! Many people would die for such a full, lovely head of hair!
And then they have a funeral but with nice hair? 😨
She says that because it’s kinky like African American hair. He cut it now when she washes it she’s gonna have an Afro. She doesn’t know how to care for that type of hair. You can see she doesn’t like to comb it that’s why she had so much tangling it was starting to get matted. She needed a texturizer and go to a salon that does all types of hair.
Not until you have it. I've very thick wavy hair it can cause scalp pain, tension headaches and is just generally unruly. So I can see why she wants it sorted. I had long hair and got it cut shorter. My chiropractor commented that it was a weight off my neck. 😬
I appreciate id hate thin hair you can see your scalp. Everyone wants "normal" hair!
This girl is gonna wake up the next day with the same problem. It needs deep conditioning and natural curling.
I use leave in conditioner to tame the curls and it helps to stop split ends. Just dilute some leave in conditioner in water bottle with a sprayer in the morning and use an afro comb to untangle. Works for me😉
She needs a really deep conditioning treatment!
No, she needs 8 inches cut off
Yes desperately
Ditto
I think a smoothing treatment as well
What professional hairdresser uses a brush for the initial comb through after the shampoo service??? He’s showing her the amount of hair she’s loosing due to breakage yet he’s making no attempt to be gentle with such obviously damaged hair. When hair is in such poor condition I (as a professional hairdresser) would never slide my shears along the hair, or use a razor for that matter, as it tends to create more damage. It scrapes the cuticle layer off some of the hair shaft, creating more frizz. He did a good blow out after cutting.
She could really benefit from an ethnic salon where they know about this hair type and structure.
Just nice to see a video of a hair stylist treating a client with kindness and gentle care. Not doing insane and crazy things for attention.
didn’t see them wash the sides of the head
I know right!
My Red hair use to be down to my waist.
My goal was to grow it out to my knees.
I took really good care of my long beautiful hair!!!
Then,
I was diagnosed with
stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer. The day before my second infusion of chemo, I was trying to put my har ontop of my head in a bun. When I brought my hands down, my long beautiful hair was clinging to my fingers and hands!!
That was my signal to put my hair into tiny little ponytails and then, I taped myself cutting my hair on camera as I shared this with my Prayer Warriors and
I did an uodate as to what was happening to me. As I recorded my message, I started cutting my hair off just as close as I could to my scalo below each tiny little elastic hair tie.
It going on 3 years since that happened. I was told that most people's hair grows back thick & curly. I got the curly part yet not the thick!! My head was so symmetrical that I didnt cover my lovely bald head. Besides it was only 20 weeks. I, also learned
I have a birthmark on the back of my head.
My mom had 11 kids!! My mom was so busy caring for us kids, she didnt have time to remember who had a birthmark on
their head!!
My hair started growing in with a nice silver with strands of dark hair interspersed throughout my hair. Funny thing is as I have grown my hair out, it's turning BLONDE!!! I am delightfully surprised and grateful that I no longer need to dye my hair. I am blessed!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😇
I think this family is going great job, compliment them, without finding any faults, they doing it with love and compassion,I do not think anyone else will do it like them,God bless them,I watch it every night,Ilove it,I am from Sri Lanka❤
Curly hair is much easier to detangle if you start right at the ends and work your way up.
Not for my hair. Works better scalp to ends.
You should NEVER thin out curly hair, it turns into a frizz ball!!! After 34 years in the business and specializing in curly hair, this is the worst thing that you can do to curly hair.

ENGLISH PLEASE, not everyone can read French.
@@Warchild-007 , well, I’m according to you - her hair, unfortunately, will turn into a big ball of frizz, poor girl.
And I’m writing in Portuguese, not French. They ‘re very different languages, click translation please. Not everyone can write in English.

Totally agree, 40+ experience...
I suggest using a wide tooth comb when combing out. This is from personal experience. It is less damaging to the hair and less painful for the client. Her cut looks good. 😊
I always use a wide-tooth comb to comb out my hair, never a brush. I have relatively straight, long hair.
Her hair has a Kinky texture and she doesn’t know how to care for it so she doesn’t comb it much. That why it was so tangled starting to mat.
You are a great artist!!! Beautiful transformation! She's another person!! Good job!
The person washing needs a few more lessons, it was very poorly done. The cut was good, that was the best thing taking all of that off! I think some extra thinning would have been nice. I would have also liked a dark colour put on. It would have taken care of her grey, the old blonde and made her natural colour fresh. 😊
I thought the same,
I was cringing when the sideburs were dry.
She could have used some bangs to soften high forehead.
True that, i was silently screaming for the shampoo guy to do her side burns. As for the cut, the damage was pretty high up but he cut most of it out. My hair is no where damaged as i take care of it.
I have wavy hair like this lady, but i need weight at the back, point cutting is the most that can be done. cannot layer or else it just goes flying everywhere. I can have a bit of layering at sides (i.e. from front to just behind the ears as it has a better texture.
Bet her hair would look amazing if she went with something like the Curly Girl method!
Wonder what it will look like when she tries to blow dry it herself?
I am guessing it will be overly tedious and difficult for her to produce this look on her own. A more simplistic style would be more achievable.
Ich weiss nicht genau, was an diesem Haarschnitt jetzt besser sein soll? Diese Dame hat eben sehr fülliges Haar, das ist ein Geschenk der Natur…
I had hair like this as a teen, but had enough sense to keep the ends trimmed and healthy. When, in 1972, hand held blower driers came along, with built-in comb, I never had wild woman hair again. Blew dry the hair straight, used my head as one giant roller by wrapping the hair around it at night, and my whole life turned around. It's so much simpler if you think it through. I've never had a bad hair day since.
Lousy hair wash. She didnt get the bottom at the neckline. Acted like she was afraid to touch her.
Her hair is, clearly, fried from being over processed and then not taken care of.
I have hair just like that girls and I never allow them to use thinning shears cause u turn into frizz ball that cut was horrible
I just love how they only washed about 2/3 to 3/4 of her hair. SARCASM.
I agree! Her temples never even got wet! And the person’s hands never went under the hair to wash the back! Sloppy work imho.
So gratifying to see a great hair stylist do his magic. If this young woman with gorgeous neglected tresses has a wash and wear style of hair care, she may want to just try one more step: a good, deep conditioner.
Okay, and maybe a gentle detangling brush.
Okay and a trim at least every 4 months. Done.
That isn't wash and wear! It requires a curling brush, or rollers, a dryer and some know how to recreate what he did.
My hair was exactly like this as a child! It had no real curl pattern but kinky texture at the root area then straight ends. No amount of conditioner, leave ins or anything helped. I finally had a relaxer put in it when I was 10 just so I wouldn’t get picked on at school. Sometimes your “natural texture” just doesn’t look good and you wanna feel good about yourself so you fix it. 23 years later I have wavy hair but it’s cut in a pixie cut bc I am not living with that crap texture again.
She wants a new look on life! And he’s trying to give her that, with class!❤️
The more you fight with your curly hair the louder it frizzes at you
She's blessed with beautiful thick hair, she just has to condition it well, use leave in conditioners once in a while, and buy frizz free products, the end result was lovely!
I would suggest doing a deep conditioning treatment and with conditioner in, use a wide-tooth comb to detangle. I do this every wash day and it helps immensely with my curls and keeping them not only moisturized but tangle free.
I use a mix of leave in conditioner with water in a spray bottle in the morning and an afro comb to untangle my hair. By the time I go out it is dry. Also use deep conditioner and wrap cling wrap around my head for 30 minutes and rinse my hair out, at least once a week. Does wonders for the friz. When you have long hair you should always brush it from the end upwards. Hairdresser taught me how to care for my hair.
It doesn't look like she loves it
Hi, you have such a beautiful heart, you always want to help to people, who really needs help ❤️. God bless you ! N.K.
So glad you didn't just leave it all bushey.
Why the negative comments. Some people....I think it looks nice and really relaxed. There aren't many good hairdressers. I still go 35 minute ride for my hairdresser in another town. There are plenty in where a live but I think she does a good job.
Raven hair and Ruby lips. Sparks fly from her fingertips. Bit of makeup, and she's gorgeous
One word….. Fabulous! Beautiful young lady and what a wonderful hair stylist work.
Love her smile in the end.
Love the length and shape - lovely outcome!
it so funny how they wash the hell out of the top of your head & never get the back of your head or down the back to your neck. lol
Wow excelente trabajo 👌👌👌👌
Sooo pretty. You are truly talented.
The rock music spoils watching the styling.
Love the hair style. You’re the best hairdresser 🤩💗
Very talented. I was happy to see you sat down for a bit. Smart man
_Not a very good hairdresser to be brushing hair tangled like that from the roots downwards. TERRIBLE!! Ughh_
i show the client how not to scan
I think the end product still looks bad. That is one unfortunate head of hair.
Amazing and much needed!❤
🤗 the girl should have had you thin it out more. Super thick hair. Pretty ending with your skilled hands. ❤❤
The before haircut is not 'brutal'. She simply has thick wavy hair. She didn't take care of it and now it looks like it wasn't taken care of. The end result is nice, but it will take at least an hour every morning to recreate what was done here. Nope. This seems to be a trend - people too lazy to take care of their hair. I went for a trim the other day and this man was there to get his hair combed out and trimmed. He hadn't brushed it in TWO YEARS. Why? Because he 'didn't feel like it'. His wife was with him and saying how she never brushes her hair because she just hates doing it. Good gods, how lazy can you get?
Aqui no Brasil eu aplicaria um selante anti frieze botox ela ficaria linda com cabelos longos e lisos
Dude…..that’s amazing !
Beautiful woman & super kind stylist ❤
It looks so much better.
Gee, I would not be happy with that.
She should go to a African American salon.
I agree. I have similar problem with my hair and have had little success with hairdressers. So I cut it myself. I am having surgery on my right hand soon so I cut it sort of pixie. It turned out decent. I will be able to brush it one handed.
Her hair looks as though it has never been brushed.
Muy buen trabajo. Esa chica tiene mucha cantidad de cabello!!!!
Que hermoso corte de pelo
I thought you're supposed to use combs on wet hair, NOT brushes.
Adorei ver o corte de cabelo da menina, grande abraço de Portugal,👍👍👍👍👍
Hair looks very thick with abit of a wave. Looks alot better..
She has wiry hair just like mine. It’s difficult to style?and keep straight.
Beautiful!! 💛
This hairdresser does not know how to work with this type of hair and that whole process was shocking to me, especially the thinning part 😮 you should never thin this type of hair cause it creates a lot of nots and tangles instantly. That girl is going to hate her hair more now. The girl doing the shampoo definitely didn’t know how to wash this type of hair either. I bet it wasn’t properly washed.
I wanted to jump through the screen and take over! I was shocked!
I know! This was bad from beginning till the end 🤦♀️
Very nice but I agree. She needs a very deep conditioning. Her hair is beautiful and full but it is dry. That’s why she has a hard time with it.
Wow! I can tell her hair while beautiful and thick it'd be difficult to manage and alot of work! I thought my hair was difficult! I know it's old fashioned but I used big rollers to soften and pull out some of that curliness and fuzz!! I used a ton of conditioner!!
I literally clicked on the video so that I could say, I'm sorry, but your shampoo technique does not look at all effective. You had a ton of lather going on top of her head. You were scrubbing those hopelessly damaged ends into fuzzballs. You had zero shampoo past the crown of her head.
What gives?
And, oh dear, just saw you getting into the cut. I hope you have a tremendously strong back, because you're risking permanent injury with all the slouching and bending.
The resulting haircut looks great! But, is was truly painful watching the process. Sigh. Then you went and used heat to straighten it.
She needed the haircut badly, because she has beautiful hair and it looked damaged and dehydrated !! excellent job !👌✌✨
A Keratin treatment would do wonders.
Those "leftover" blondish ends ruin the look!
PARABÉNS PELO SEU TRABALHO AMIGO ❤
Beautiful!
Que lindo ficou❤❤
It looks beautiful.
She needs keratin that will help😊
Hi Ceyhun. From Portugal. You are the best hairdresser; your videos are fantastic. May I suggest a long video with a lot of women shampooing? And a video with oh hair changes you made to your beautiful woman?. Please go on with your extraordinary chanell...
É um cabelo que vai precisar continuar sendo cuidado, senão a tortura não dará trégua.
Oh wow 🥰👏👏👏👏
She does not look happy, and i dont blame her.
Poor girl. She has a head full of thick, coarse hair that she has to put lots of product in and then apply massive heat to to get it to lay down and be shiny and silky. Lot of time spent on that kind of hair.
There's no way she'll be able to do her hair like this by herself at home. Waaaaay too much daily work. Her hair's got a life all of its own.
As someone with thin fine hair I just look at this and sigh wistfully.
I understand her pain. My hair is like hers.
Haar haar mocht nog wat korter zijn veel te erg beschadigd was echt niet verzorgd heel vies gelukkig dat er zo een top kapper bestaat en telkens een oplossing heeft❤
Princess Diaries comes to mind…..”You broke my brush!”
Волосы пушистые ❤
Aceite de coco.
Camerawork is a bit bouncy for me - but all the best with your important work!
I wish he could do my hair
🤗🤗❤❤
I think she needs to go to a salon that specializes in african hair, they would be better equipped to teach her how to care for that type of hair. She definitely need a proper hair cair routine to improve the health of her hair.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 quedó excelente!! Le devolviste la autoestima!!!!❤
LOTS of shedding. I thought she had a extensions. Great job.
You did a beautiful job in the end. But if she came in with damaged hair. I feel like she won’t be able to reproduce that look on her own. As a female with curly and thick hair I will say. With a hair cut like that 90% of the time she will have her hair tied up someway and the other 10% of the time she will struggle with her hair when it is down.
You missed washing the sideburns but scrubbed all the dead hair on her ends.
Sure are a lot of experts in the comments 😬
why would anyone comb out long wet hair with a brush a wide tooth comb or a hair pick would make good sense
Horrible just horrible I have hair like her someone used those thinning shear on me I looked awful I wanted to cry NO THINNING SHEARS ON CURLY HAIR
To all those who have critisized the hair wash..........do you not realise all is not shown on here as it would take too much time ? Parts are cut out like the comb through before the cut.
Tank you so much♥️👍♥️👌❤️👍❤️👌❤️👍❤️👌
