Exploring TINY Florida Islands for Fossils | Fossil Hunting in the Gulf of Mexico

  • This was a very enjoyable and different kind of fossil hunting adventure here in Florida! Kyle and I set out to explore the banks of a huge canal, eventually making our way to a series of small islands in the Gulf of Mexico that are loaded with fossils and other cool things that wash up. We had a good time seeing the wildlife, finding loads of cool things and enjoying the scenery.

Man, now I'm so homesick... Mullet jumping, dolphins doing the sideroll so they can watch the weird twoleggers in their boat, sawgrass..... I miss Florida. Great video! I could practically smell the Gulf. No matter where I spend my life, part of me always belongs back there.

Lol : )Then again other moments it's simply two boys having the time of their lives. If I found a Manatee skeleton, I'd be Super Stoked. I'd take it home, along with some sand and lay it out in the sand (in my back yard) or mount it onto some old weathered wood, to display wherever. So Cool! What a Day you two had. Even the fish were jumping with Joy it seemed. Thank you for letting us tag along, Chris and Kyle.
