I was at this rally in Portland. When the bird landed on the podium there was a collective gasp as everyone took a quick breath in, then an outbreak of cheers from a crowd of 8,000 people. Momentum has built tremendously since then. We can do this! Bernie2020! Please like and share.
Watching this again, almost eight months later, and it's heartbreaking to think of what could have been now that the election is over. I remember seeing you speak in person, and I was so inspired. I stood in line all day in the cold not knowing anyone else there and I didn't care because I was so excited. I saw strangers helping each other stay warm, singing in line, even buying each other campaign memorabilia. And making signs while waiting in line. You brought us together and gave us hope. Real hope. And you taught us how to stand up for ourselves and make our voices heard, even if that just wasn't enough this time and the odds were stacked against us. Keep fighting for us Mr. Sanders. We won't give up either.
