Deadpool's Continuity Gem is not canon so it's not worth talking about. The Ego Gem however WAS canon at one point so it did warrant a mention. Please stop asking about it.

He didn't really destroy them as much as he made them the size of atoms.

@@carso1500 Atomized infinity stones are still infinity stones. The stones can't be destroyed, but they can change shape. In the comics they were shattered into pieces and were still fine, so shattering them into even smaller pieces (atoms) shouldn't cause an issue.
They nerfed everything to be more interesting to general audiences.
I would love to see more on the Infinity Stones. I'm a sucker for color coded power sources that each hold a unique trait.

A detailed history of the Infinity Stones is something I'd actually really want to see. Even the MCU stones have an history that the movies only hint at.

Love your stuff and kudos on the sponsorship, hopefully it's the first of many to come. Like many have already said I also would love to see a full, in-depth, obnoxiously detailed full story on the history of the gems/stones, hopefully including any insight or opinions as why they changed the colors two or three times over the years. Infinity Gauntlet was always my fave comic story and I drilled as much as I could into memory including the color and placements on the glove of each gem, for them to change it made that pointless and I just can't look at them now without trying to recall which was which after the changes. But yes, more please Oh Great Purveyor of Obscure Facts in Fiction! :)

James Richardson first the stones were just called soul gems and thanos intened to destroy the universe with but the avengers and adam warlock defeated him. Then thanos was brought back and he re collected the stones which are now called infinity gems. He wanted to make lady death fall in love with him so he used to the stones to wipe out half of the universe like gamora said in the infinity war trailer. The avengers x men and celstals tried to take him out but with the stones he killed everyone. Now that thanos is literaly a god he becomes omnipontet and leaves his physical form. Nebula took the stones when thanos left his body. Now that nebula has the stones adam warlock took it from her and used it to bring everyone back to life.
So the whole line
"I used the stones to destroy the stone" wouldn't work?

I hate the fact that in avengers tv show (not earth mightiest hero's but the follow up) there were 5 stones instead of 6 :the power stone,time,mind,space,reality BUT NO SOUL STONE AND BEFORE YOU SAY"IT'S JUST MISSING"NO THE INFINTY GANLET ONLY HAS 5 SLOTS
