There was also an “Asgardian-Buster” armor, seen in an episode of the cartoon series Avengers Assemble, which can apparently mimic Thor’s lightning abilities and is electricity-proofed to nullify Thor’s lightning. The suit was taken over by Ultron and used to battle the Avengers, along with all of Tony’s other suits.

Iron Man's Hulk Buster was strong enough to bust Captain Marvel + She Hulk + Wolverine + Spiderman + Luke Cage + Captain America all at the same, so it was obviously extremely powerful. But Hulk in World War Hulk mode was just way too OP, literally everyone got busted, even Dr Strange & Sentry failed to take down the Hulk.

• *What about The God Killer Armor?* - That is NOT a buster suit. It's not even Iron Man armor and it wasn't even built by Tony Stark.
• *Isn't the Hulkbuster the Mark 44?* - No. It is not. This is about the comic BOOKS, not the movies. Besides, in the comics, they use "Model" as designations and not "Mark".
• *What about the Thanos Buster?* - That's non-canon and came out after this video was made.

In the first avengers iron man is shown taking on Thor and being a fairly even match for the God and later in the film Thor is a match for hulk but in avengers age of ultron iron man needs a hulkbuster suit to take on hulk and in captain America civil war two super soldiers disable not take down Tony who is blinded by emotion

More Iron Man Suits! More! Iron Man is probably one of my favorite comic book heroes due the fact that some of the trivia of things he's done in his life are so bizarre and insane even though he remains a hero with no powers.
I never understood why tony never build a bust suit for Venom, or any symbiote for that matter. They're pretty touch to fight and have reputation of going crazy, so an Ironman suit focused on weapons based around sound and fire seems like a good idea. Maybe call is Symbiote Slayer?

the sad thing is that usually all the buster suits end up with tony getting his ass kicked by their intended target when they prove to be WAY stronger an more skilled than tony estimated. mainly because tony usually underestimates people but also in part due to the fact that for most of his suits his goal in creating them isn't to KILL his opponent. just incapacitate him/her.

No. The Civil Warrior is a version of Captain America from Contest of Champions, where he ended up killing Iron Man during the Civil War on his Earth, and uses now armor designed by Tony as homage to him.

charliboy15 I think it was what made him fall through the tower that did the trick, not the falling itself. Also, that has to be a pretty sturdy tower if Avengers hang out in it, with all the trouble they have coming their way on a daily basis.
***** 'Comics' is also the reason the entire avengers team couldn't stop the stark sentinels, because you know for a fact that Thor could destroy all of them if he wanted to.
Man Thor is really nerfed in the MCU. In the first Avengers Tony didn't even need a Thorbuster and could take him on easily in his normal one. But at least they did Thor justice by demonstrating his strength when he crushed Iron Man's gauntlets.

It seems like every one of Iron Man's 'buster suits' either fails or completely backfires on him. Stick to the normal armor Tony.
The normal suit can is even less equipped for the scenario, functioning more as a general purpose suit. The busters may fail but they are still the best weapon Tony has
John Smith Sorry I'm late the suits actually don't backfire Stark just happens to be fight a much Stronger version of the character the suit was intended to fight. For example Hulk Buster Mark 2 was fighting World Breaker Hulk, Thor Buster was fighting Odin Thor instead of Thor.

There's a What If where Tony becomes the Sorcerer Supreme instead of Dr Strange and in it he builds a suit called the Sorcerer Armor. Instead of having to invoke enchantments the suit can do it all automatically allowing him to instantly cast spells, reinforcing said spells with tech. His tech based attacks (repulsors/unibeam/etc) are also automatically magically enhanced. That suit plus some kryptonite based weaponry, or maybe even a kryptonite powered arc reactor, would make a pretty sweet Supesbuster. Of course, this would require him to become a sorcerer for realsies :P

Not nearly as much movement. Think of regular armour as normal hockey player and the hulk uster like a goal keeper.
King Luigi Thor and Hulk are already powerhouses, regular Ironman suit has better movility, speed and covers different needs
In the movie Tony was ashamed that he even made the Veronica thing, because it reminds Bruce that the Hulk is still a monster. Which I think is a poor excuse for a reason why he won't wear it into battle.

There was a new Hulk Buster type armor, when saying that i mean it was a giant ass suit, in the Superior Iron man Comics, not sure what class it goes into but I love that suit as it can be controlled by the Sym Tech armor bonding with it. That Sym Tech armor is also pretty cool concept, a little less chrome maybe.. But the concept of it is awesome.
