I started early one morning to mow a friend's yard to beat the heat. I overlooked the fact I was doing anything wrong until his next door neighbour went mad at me. It's a learning curve, and I learned from it. I was actually in violation of the local law by about 1/2 hour.
Guy gave me a bad review because I decided not to add his property to my route. He asked for an estimate, I provide a quote. First thing he said was “The last guy was lower.” My response was simple. My price is what I charge. I don’t negotiate back and forth. I said have a nice day sir.

I was hanging out with a guy from the UK about 10 years ago. He got some Gatoraids and was telling how much he likes it. I asked do they have GatorAIDS in the UK. He said no it is illegal because it was so deadly.
This was after I already knew it caused diabetes and cancer.
It's common knowledge that you can only do residential lawn care or construction between 8am and 8pm.
Our neighborhood is 7AM you can start.
When we have hoa that have over 40 homes we take a lunch break especially when it’s 90 plus outside lol but if it was just me and other person with like 13 homes then no just a quick 15 minute break. Love the vids

God, Those walk behinds make it look so easy, I mow an acre every weekend with an old Husqvarna push mower, Really need to invest in something like a toro recycler.
I bought a new commercial mower that has a 12v battery and also bought the green guard chute blocker. It seemed to be working great at first but the more i use it (it gets slower and slower and stops operating). Is it possible i need a separate battery for the green guard. Wasnt sure what voltage battery your mowers were but am curious if maybe its just too much on my battery and causing it to run down (although the mower does start after the green guard stops) and perhaps maybe i need to buy a separate battery for the green guard. I know this is probably a question to ask them but am curious if you've had this issue or what volt battery your zmaster 4000 is.
I like to start around 6 or 6:30 since it's a little bit cool in the AM

far nicer when it comes to noise than I am, city says noise ordinance is 7am for commercial equipment, ill be at the first yard just before 7, sitting on my mower waiting for 7 to hit then i fire it up and im off to the races.

I usually bring my turfs up an inch during the hotter times of the year and noticed that they would trive and look better longer than the short lawns
For me the sound of the electric mower is loud tho I have very good hearing and I'm a senior. Definitely 7, 730 is too early tho I understand the heat, humidity I hate it. I'm up north still a very hot summer, could never live down south.

Shoot keep the gas power going, I put these shows on my tv, so my grandkids go to sleep they love watching it and the sound of the lawnmower puts them to sleep.
I usually just bring sandwich, ice drink, protein bar, chips, and something else idk what just depends on day also banana. Also creatine is great for you. It’s not like steroids and stuff like that. I’m a landscaper, I work out I drink coconut water during my work outs before I take pre work out, creatine and carnitine, after I drink protein shake with glutamine. I lift to heavy and work to hard not to be doing any supplements to help me push thru a work out lol will never down anyone that doesn’t. Hell I wish I never did start taking anything other than pre workout and protein I know I can stop taking other stuff but I’m seeing great results so I’m not stopping. Also had someone say we started to early at entire HOA townhomes at 7 am and the go to sleep at 5 am or whatever it was. My boss replied I’m sorry but call me don’t leave a nasty review and let me know we could start on other side or something but we won’t be starting later and getting done late in the day cause the heat.

My neighbours had a team come and do a scarify mow and blow all with petrol at 7:30 in the morning, they are genuinely lucky they was only 15 mins and they was gone by the time i got up... i would have made sure that was their last job. I would get that shut down with no mercy... come and be a wolly and you will be going jobless.

@@Bladesofgrasslawncare I thought you wouldve picked up on the sarcasm. I am solo too different ballgame though in southern pennsylvania. I suffered a heat stroke last year and its not fun. Keep the sun off your skin they told me it was great advisr i always wore pants but short sleeves they said itll nake you hotter than wearing a breathable long sleeve material.

I enjoy your videos, but in this instance you're wrong. You can't start cutting too early because neighbors may still be sleep. Whatever the neighborhood time is to start cutting is in place because they all agreed to that time. It doesn't matter if your using electric mowers or not, you have to be respectful of their time just as you want people to be respectful of your time.

I run a cleaning business in the UK, we have our hours of operation. Between 8am and 6pm. If we can't show up between those times, we can't service those customers. Plenty of other work around.
Residential home owners organisation, shouldn't get to set other businesses opening hours 😮.
