2:31 Mango Chutney is mostly used as a dip on the side but actually works really well as an ingredient
Thanks from Istanbul👋
My favourite teaching chef, thanks Jamie ✌❤
Really
@@kaavyageethika5449 Absolutely.
This is a must do! Thanks again for your delicious and healthy recipes.
Being from Southern Indian state of Tamilnadu, I miss the green chilli, sambar powder and Turmeric powder. This preparation seems to be on the sweeter note than the authentic hot spicy tangy one with only red ripe Bangalore tomatoes 😋
I think Jamie is trying to encourage british people to cook here .
Sure i do miss all spices . This is for me a curry gravy recipe, but I need to try as it could be amazing>
He is breaking all the recipes - like polisk chef Karol Okrasa - Thats why i love Jamie's cooking - very brave!!!
well done Sir
This is not Indian curry bhai... This is something else. Maybe our other Asian cousins can recognize this dish and it's flavor. I personally wouldn't eat this or make it but each to their own. I clicked on the video because it said tomato curry and I never heard of tomato curry before.
As soon as he said "olive oil", I abandoned all hope.
Problem is with these types of meals is you're going to be hungry half an hour later.
that looks so good! will make this for sure, I really hope I can find the curry leaves, so exited!
Watching from India looking really Amazing 😋😊
Aree baiyaa, do you remember his so called "Butter chicken" recipie. He lost the respect of every indian that exists.

Haters gonna hate. I made a slightly modified version of this two years ago, and it was delicious. Give it a try.
This curry is really good - one of my favourites now. Love the whole "veg" book
Is it genuinely good?
I love nearly all Jamie’s recipes but after making his chicken tikka masala recipe many years ago (the one with a tin of tomato soup) which tasted revolting I’m hesitant to try this curry
@@isyt1 yes really good, try it!
@@isyt1 the tomato risotto is also unbelievably good
Love your curry so delicious you are my best chef love your veg book thank you for sharing Jamie love from Amy Javea Spain
i swear my catlove this food
I want to try your skinned tomatoes, have always wanted them. in juice or soup! mmmm! Make it for us and we'll try. -Brittney
I have a few curry leave trees growing. We'll in SA everything grows good.

THIS RECIPE MADE ME VOMIT AND MADE MY ANCESTORS CRY
❤❤❤
Looks delicious 😋
So..I've been watching you for years..love your show..question?..you love to use that red chili in most of your dishes..I've always wondered what kind of red chili that is..in America they don't sale those small red chili's..just wondering??
You can use any chilli powder
Yum
Really amazing 👍
How do i peel a chili?
With great skill and agility
❤❤ desde ARGENTINA un saludo muy cordial !!! Me encanta tu forma de cocinar !!!!
I Love You Jamie Oliver ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊.
God help you if Uncle Rodger sees this.
Красиво шинкует
Wow amazing 🇩🇰👍
1:15 How do you peel a chilli? I've never seen anyone do that.
lovely!😋 i'm literally addicted to curry stuff
Ha! Who eats curry with a knife & fork? Looks good though.
Always been wondering how one can find such enormous spirit to put into what u do!!! Gorgeous ! ! !
I am fairly certain that there is no way I will be able to find curry leaves in my area. Suggestions for how to substitute?
You don't need it. It's like one of those things you add if you have it. It's not essential.
I have a massive curry tree in my backyard, so I always have a fresh supply.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Greetings from Belgrade (Serbia)
You are a great chef.
no salt mate 😂
That classic Indian ingredient Olive Oil! lol. Come on Jamie, what about peanut oil, coconut oil, ghee or even sunflower oil. There’s no way on this planet that Indian curries have olive oil in them!
I was thinking the same 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I never heard of olive oil 🪔🛢️ into an Indian food
To be fair this is not Indian curry. Maybe the other Asians like Thai or Vietnamese or even Japanese can recognize this dish.
@@jn8922 agreed but also to be fair, olive oil isn’t used in any curries from around the world. It’s European/Mediterranean
So what, with the twist, tomatoes and olive oil is the combination, I d put some mediterranean herbs aswell
Ghee would have been what I would use, and I'm not Indian.😊
Watching from Russia. Thank you! It's very interesting! Tasty! ❤

Yummy
It didn't involve a tone of cheese or cream didn't think I would see the day Jamie well done
Jamie Oliver is the best chef! Please, make more meat-free meals!
Alright!
Yummy ❤
Im sorry for all the indians that watched this
Food is not always about Indian, Thailand, Western or
Anything. as long as its you who cook it, be proud of it. There is nothing wrong with putting what you like in your cooking as long as its food. It will always be a good food.. In the Philippines I like Balot soup, would you dare basher people. Shhheeessshhh

@@rl6456 🤔🙋♀
Wow I am going to give it try yummy
Top❤
Where is the masala?
Haiyah...
What about just a teeny bit of salt???
Super expensive
Tomatoes? Don’t think so.
You cant cook anything, everything failed haiyaaa
SALT
Another Jamie Olive Oil recipe. 🤦🏻♂️
What is salt? No salt in the curry 😂 no wonder his restaurants shut down
What a wonderful well informed and thought through comment. I applaud you sir.
Where's the protein? hardly a balanced meal.
Erm.. so we are this is basically boiled tomatoes with spices on a stew base.. really? 0 protein, can’t imagine this being any good…
Taste, purpose, goals... Everyone can have theirs. There's no problem having a meal withouts proteins. Habits and sense are quite more important than just the proteins of one meal.
😂😂😂
No protein or salt. Not going to be making this.
As a Chef, i love video's like this from failed tryhard cooks.. You can tell when a chef is crap, they write books, make video's and promote supermarket garbage.
Why? no one wants to eat what they cook... I know housewives who can cook better that that wannabee.
That's interesting. Go>>>>
So I can afford the can of coconut milk 👌
❤❤❤
