    Another thing you can do is drop your iron tone break down to like 7 or 8 if it's stable enough. A lot of that small gold will ring in better if you do that. The stock tone break(11 or 10 with the first update) is right at the point where small gold rings in and creates sketchy tones. So if you can drop that tone break down without becoming unstable it's worth the effort. Another tip, if you find a pendant like that switch over into gold field mode, do a few circles and see if you can hit the chain, that will be your best shot. Gold field is going to be super sketchy and probably a bit chatty but you can handle it just in the immediate area to find a chain, if it's there. I know I would. :)

    I'm hoping to take my new legend for the first time this weekend and this video is interesting as this will be my first real detector and I may have a little advantage as I live in Wales UK and apparently the temperature of the water effects the salinity and so therefore effect's conductivity, I can't wait

    Only just got my hands on one, but if you want small jewellery, don't turn your Stability up too high. Also don't be afraid to lower sensitivity. I was testing some deep coins, and still getting very good depth on Sens 17.

    There is a secret setting for " stability" Dilek went over how to adjust it in one of her videos. It's automatically adjusted to 1, and it goes up to 5. The higher you go the less sensitive it is to smaller objects.

    So this is a great test for all the new Legend owners out there and I thought it was very interesting. I noticed on my machine when going through the beach setting that it was very chatty for a multi frequency setting much more so then multi one or two in park mode so I started playing around with it. So the one thing that I found that made a very big difference in Beach mode to drop some of the chatter out besides changing the stability number is to lower the recovery speed down from 5 to one. And since I'm not going to be at the beach in the next month or so the next question I have is how would it work in park one or two on multi frequency one or two on the beach if your ground balance it there? I figure since you're on the beach there with it you might be able to try it the next time you're down there. Great find with the ring also!

    Pretty cool ... I've been hunting on the sand over here on the south east coast of FL and only just started to get in the water (surf is still pretty high this winter with lots of rip tides, making it hard to stand in one place).... thanks for this video, I am also experimenting with settings and have come up with the same conclusions. I use PTones, and set my tone break down to 9. Using All metal, and also F1 seems to be the same for me, but I need to do more long term hunting in the water to know definitively. Always good to see you out of the parks and on to the beaches, but those are fun too. I've only started to post videos to my channel, but will do so each week. Check them out. Cheers, keep swinging, and happy hunting.

      @TreasureOutdoors  Před rokem

      Hey! First thing.. have you updated to the latest version? make sure you have it, it helped a lot on the beach in general. (1.09) If you already do you could try putting your "stability" setting higher.. that helped me.. if all else fails.. turn up your recovery speed and turn down your sensitivity. Some spots are pretty hard to work. also make sure running in beach mode (MW)

Im on multi wet, tried to reduce sensibility to 20 and stability 1,3,5... nothing works, so many fake signals, like one every second (with sound and ID), am i doing something wrong?...

    • @TreasureOutdoors
      @TreasureOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      Have you updated to version 1.07 by chance? That really helped mine, since updating and running 5 stability I haven't run into any issues with chatter or false signals in the water. The only other thing I can think of is maybe make sure coil wire is wrapped tight. What kind of signals is it giving? High sound or iron tones?

      @@TreasureOutdoors Hey thanks for replying, yes i upgraded to 1 07 that was the first thing i did. And no, the wire is not specially tight, will test but i dont think that can be the problem. The signals are completly random, from ids 11 to 50 or so

    I run my Legend at 25 sens and up in the salt water, don't know why your machine acts like that!!!!!! Mine runs pretty much silent. Maybe its the LG 30 9x12 coil that I'm running. I run these settings for the salt water:
    MW
    Sensitivity - 25
    Stability - 3
    Iron Bias - 4
    Recovery - 5
    BC Rejection - 0
    GS - 0
    Sometimes I have to check to see if my machine is on!

      Tak, to kwestia nowej, eliptycznej sondy LG30 i softu nowszego niż 1.09. Ale spróbuj położyć złotą obrączkę na czarnych kamieniach lub czarnym piasku. Może być całkowicie niewidoczna nawet na głębokości 10 cm i więcej mierząc od cewki. Wg mnie Legend jest dobry na słoną wodę (Atlantyk, zasolenie ok 35%) dopiero z cewką LG30 i softem minimum 1.10 choć zepsuli tryb pole przez zmianę mającą na celu lepsze wykrywanie cienkich srebrnych monet. Ten tryb stał się przez to płytszy o ok 10cm i nie nadaje się już do chodzenia w słonej wodzie (wcześniej był o niebo lepszy niż tryb plaża MW)!
      Mam ma myśli bardzo słoną wodę i mokrą, słoną plażę.
      Ciekawostka: Atlantyk ma średnio 5 razy większe zasolenie niż Bałtyk i wykrywacz będzie się w tych 2 akwenacj zachowywał zupełnie różnie. Zwłaszcza gdy dojdzie do tego czarny piasek lub czarne, lawowe kamienie.

      It's not junk but it definitely needs work..Auto ground tracking changes way too fast. It starts over compensating when on a target. You'll actually lose the steady audio after trying to zero in. Never run it on auto GB. Nox does it effortlessly. Hard to get it to run right at the beach. Lots of iron falsing...
