We tell these companies every time we buy processed cheap CONVENIENT foods that that's what we want. If they thought there was any real demand for better food or more ethical food they'd trip over themselves to sell it to us. The demand isn't there. I, know this as someone who sells food to people and have done for 20 years. Part of my business is educational, workshops etc, and i can't believe just how little people know or care about the food they eat. It's our responsibility to choose, and at the moment (it is changing) most of us are creating a huge demand for toxic and unethically produced food. However difficult it is, the vast majority of modern consumers do have a choice every time they make a purchase. Some of my customers question a couple of dollars for an organic grass fed steak, despite spending 40 to 50 dollars on their meal and drinks. WTF? I have to respond to their demand oř I go broke.. Same with my suppliers...and theirs. Demand starts with the end user.

Also instead of spending so much time taking our kids to baseball or soccer etc practice. Use that time to teach our children to plant and harvest even with the smallest of green space that you might have. And give them the satisfaction of literally seeing their care and hard work pay off. Ive done it and my kids love it! But we live near chicago, brutal winters. Moving down south for a more natural way of life. With chickens and plants and 🌞

Raise your own chickens people. Problem solved. Fresh organic eggs every morning. Too many eggs?? Sell or give some to less fortunate neighbor. Together we can make a difference.
