US Marine Corps, Japan and the Philippines conduct large-scale war exercises on the South China Sea

- The U.S. Marine Corps commences two concurrent large-scale bilateral exercises with key allies across the first island chain, from northern Japan through the Philippines.
More than 5,500 personnel will participate in Resolute Dragon 22 in Hokkaido, Japan and in KAMANDAG across Luzon, Batanes, and Palawan in the Philippines.
More than 2,500 members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Marine Corps are joining forces for the annual bilateral exercise KAMANDAG 7.
Meanwhile, 1,400 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members from the 2nd Division, Northern Army and 1,600 U.S. Marines from across III Marine Expeditionary Force will conduct Resolute Dragon 22, the second annual iteration of the exercise.

Thanks to the Philippines certain countries need these Military training exercises to keep up with everything in case we are hit hard by certain countries who think they can exercise their power over smaller countries who might be lacking in weapons man power or other things.
