Philippines modernization of army artilleries are very important. Because you know I live here in the so called Mindanao and a lot of civil war happens most of the rebels are laughing at the military they even said their weapons are more updated and upgraded than the Philippines military. Also I have heard few of army personnel bragging about how old and rusty their weapons and tanks. They even joke that it's was older than them.

The 3.8 million USD received by the Philippines are a dropped in the bucket compared to what Israel received annually. If the US really wants to bolster the defense of the country they need to ramp up their financial aid significantly because the Philippines can't afford large and expensive acquisition of modern weapons to help counter China increasing aggression in the region.

Questions you need to think of if ever a war breaks out 1. How long will these weapons last? 2. Where do you get the budget for it? Ok for the sake of it let's just say that we have the budget for it (clearly we do not), do you think other countries will just sell and sell? Of course not. I'll give you an example Ukraine has received 200+ Billion worth of donations but they're still having a hard time getting new equipments for the ongoing war. Why? The manufacturing simply can't keep up, resources are limited and that's the reality of it. Another thing you should think about. learning new equipments takes time.

China's nine-dash line claim was invalidated by the Permanent Court of arbitration at the Hague. China is among the first countries who signed the UNCLOS in 1982 and ratified it in 1994. China is obligated to abide by UNCLOS and the arbitral court's' ruling, but China rejects and disregards international maritime law.
Philippines should invest more on shore based anti ship missiles since china has the largest naval fleet. .
