i think the scariest thing about this game is that the cat's don't die, they just teleport back to there spawn. meaning they can avoid death in some cases.

@@livispuzzled Sarcasm is something that is, at times, really hard to percieve in text. In this case, I believe it would be especially difficult to find out that you were joking. This is because nothing you said really indicated that you were joking up until you admitted to it. There wasn't a punchline, nor were you being over the top. I once watched a video (I think the CZcamsr's name was Razbuten) explaining how purple is usually associated with corruption in games for various reasons. One of the reasons that apply outside of Japan is that, due to how rare and difficult to obtain purple pigments are in nature, it was commonly worn by the higher classes in ancient times as a symbol of their power or wealth.
It also contrasts with most natural backgrounds due to it's rarity, making it feel out of place, and the fact it's a mixture of red (the "evil" color) and blue (the color of the hero) emphasizes the theme of corruption.
Anyway, watch the video, they probably explained it better than me.

I’ve heard from friends that Bowser just appears randomly, and that’s annoying. And he can go away by himself, but that’s random, too.
As someone who actually played Bowser's Fury, that's not true; you can see Bowser slowly rise up in the background, showing you how long you have until he attacks again, and if I'm not mistaken, the time you have until then is consistent, only changing once you get close to 50 cat shines, as that's the egonning of the end of the initial run; same seems to be true for him leaving on his own, although there's no indication that he will, he just does after a while.
In case you were still curious: Bowser appears after a set time interval, and after another set time, will automatically leave again. Starting from 45 cat shines Bowser will almost immediately respawn and not leave unless a cat shine is found. Starting from 48 he will no longer be deterred by car shines. After the main battle, this pattern restarts, with the thresholds moving to 95 and 98 cat shines respectively
