      Not that surprising really. Once they had all the MS production and no one else even had the chance to rival them, they had all the power. Militaries need weapons, when one guy can supply them, no one complains as long as their orders are filled.
      Then the issue of anyone calling them out, they lose their weapons and no one else can make them. So, while the Federation, Zeon, and all others knew what was up, it wasn't a concern. Either commit more lives to the fight (Cheap and easy for large governments that are already on wartime economies) or call them out and no more bang bangs.

      I wouldn't agree. They're opportunists and greedy. But it wasn't them who did things like colony drops and gas attacks. The person who hands the killer the weapon is to blame yes, but the person ACTUALLY killing still is the bigger issue.
      I would argue that AE isn't even evil per say. It's a corporation and this is the problem with corporation. They are designed to make money, everyone who works for them is designed, trained, brainwashed even, to put corporate profit as goal #1.
      AE was a weapons company. So it looked at the state of the world and said: if things go this direction we stand to make more money - let's invest in that route.

    the one issue with this is where is the money coming from? Investing in both sides sounds like a good idea on the surface. Double the bang for your buck, but as one side starts to lose the war their ability to pay for everything starts to come into question, and suddenly you're stuck holding the bag on a bunch of war material that for all intents and purposes is useless and won't make money off of. And if your solution in fixing this mess is to stir another conflict... well now we run into the old issue, where is the money coming from?
    Finances can be split into liquid and non-liquid assets, Anaheim would want liquid assets such as stocks, bonds, treasury notes, and cold hard cash something they can convert into money in less than 90 days and put into their own accounts or into their own stock portfolios. But generally, no state has all the cash on hand to buy everything up front, so this shit is done on Credit... and if one side loses paying back debts to war profiteers is usually at the bottom of the barrel unless that company has a private military strong enough to come collect. So Anaheim supporting both sides is eating a major profit loss everytime they do this crap XD

    I would say the Jegan and Geara Doga are actually pretty evenly matched, with the Jegan probably having the upper hand slightly. In the case of the Second Neo War (CCA) I actually think Londo Bell had the disadvantage in numbers, specially considering they were the only ones to be using the Jegans and fighting Char. In my mind, the reason why the Geara Dogas seem to perform better is the fact that Newborn Neo Zeon (just gonna refer to them as Neo Zeon now) probably had better pilots, sure Londo Bell had the Elite of the Earth Federation and AEUG, but by that time there weren't that many good AEUG pilots left thanks to them leaving to another faction, dying or retiring after the First Neo Zeon War. The Federation Pilots weren't in a better state either, with most of the good federation pilots being on the Titans and most of the veterans on the First Neo Zeon war not having that much experience since the actual Federation Forces didn't really engage Haman or Glemy's faction as much. Even at the end of ZZ, they are literally too late and the battle was already won by the few remains of the AEUG/Gundam team.
    On the other hand you had Neo Zeon which had battle hardened Axis Zeon pilots, some AEUG pilots that probably defected, veteran Zeon pilots and more damming than all, Cyber-NewTypes. Let's put it in another way, Neo Zeon pilots were probably used to handling powerful MSs like the Zaku IIIs, Doven Wolfs, the Gaza series, Dreissens, Galluss Js, Bawoos, Zaku IVs, etc. Most Federation Pilots and AEUG pilots had Nemos and GM IIIs as their best standard issue MS, with aces maybe having the Nouvel GM III and Zeta plus series. Even if we count the Moon Gundam stuff, Londo Bell was really outclassed in terms of pilots, although in all fairness in moon gundam Neo Zeon had the better MS hands down.}
    This is exemplified by the fact that if you gave a competent pilot any of the Federations machines they could go toe to toe with similar Neo Zeon machines. Even Amuro, yes I know it's unfair to use Amuro as an example but bear with me, almost destroyed one of the Neo Zeon's top MS, the Jagd Doga, with his ReGZ alone. It was only char who came and eventually saved Gyunei.
    Was writing all of this worth it because of a single slide on the video about fictional space robots? No... but atleast it was fun to think about.
