I am 32, and today my dentist told me I have to get braces to close spaces. I am afraid how ridiculous I will look with braces at my age. 😪 I don't want to do it.
My two front upper teeth does not touch with any teeth😂 and the spacing gotten severe over the years. My parents couldn’t afford to get braces for me and I finally able to do it at the age of 25. My orthodontist did frenectomy laser on the gum between my mid tooth and now I understand why 😂
Hey Doc, thanks for your informative contents always. Doc I had a lot of gaps both on top and lower teeth together with a little open bit, & in 4 weeks am taking off the braces. So am told by the orthodontist that I will be given top & lower permanent retainers retainers together with clear retainer. So my question is can ask for Hawley retainer just for a backup since clear retainer breaks?
clear retainers work great and should last quite a while. If you would prefer a hawley retainer you can ask your doctor if it would be a good fit for you. In most cases hawleys and clear retainers can be used somewhat interchangeably.
Hi doc, I have a similar spacing issue but I’ve only noticed the change/gaps forming the past few months. I’m 31. I read that could be of some gum disease. Should I see a dentist or straight to an ortho for braces? TIA!
I had a gap in 2016 and its been increasing ever since. not huge but gap is increasing and i'm noticing other gaps now, is this normal? and if i dont get braces now, will the gaps keep on increasing?

@@PremierOrthodontics I'm located in Dubai :( the dentist here don't provide detailed answers to my questions, they just tell me that I'd I need braces and what would be the cost be.
I need your help, doctor, I have a class 2 overbite, I think the orthodontist said it was half of class 2. I researched it and it turns out it's the same solution in one of your videos, he said I have to pull out 2 teeth in my upper arch, because I'm too old for the metal spring that pushes the lower jaw forward and the upper jaw back, he said it would fix my overbite completely and my side profile as well. He said he was going to straighten out my teeth first and then extract the 2 upper teeth in 2 or 3 months, everything makes sense to me but these stories that extracting teeth will ruin your jaw line are scaring me.
@@PremierOrthodontics Yeah, thanks for the advice... Got them extracted and put braces on the same day. My Ortho is one of the best in the country so I just decided to trust her.. She said I'm getting them removed before summer so that's surprising..

Don't be embarrassed! You'll be surprised when you go in for an appointment how many adults there are! Good Luck with your smile journey!
Have fun with it, I’m 29 and getting braces again. I can’t wait, getting to choose my elastic colours!!

Omg I need exactly this
It's almost 3 month since I'm using elastic band for my braces to close my spacing. Idk how it takes to close a gap about maybe 3 or 5 mm.
Thanks for uploading. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Our pleasure!

I would see a dentist first to rule out any issues and see if they suggest an orthodontist for the issue!

Looks like my old teeth. I was a member of the Gap Band before my braces

Hey Duscan! If your Dr is recommending it and doesn't think it is going to negatively affect you go for it!
