I came into the stream while Vin was in the middle of playing this and I legit thought that this was some obscure, PS1-era Castlevania game that I must've slept on somehow. Took me a minute to figure out that it was a Doom mod. Kudos to whoever made this, it looks awesome!

Vinny’s first passive effect:
“Corruption”: causes the current active video game to violently crash or visually corrupt. (This effect cannot be manually activated and randomly activates after the passive meter is fully charged, the chance this passive activates is 10%, this passive consumes the entire meter)
Vinny’s second passive:
“Meta script” this passive only occurs while a video game is being streamed, causes a video game to randomly coincide with one of vinny’s random stream comments. (This effect cannot be manually activated and randomly activates after the passive meter is fully charged, the chance this passive activates is 1%, this passive consumes the entire meter)
Vinny’s third passive:
“Accidental meme lord” this passive only actives during a stream, it causes the chat to create a meme out of one of Vinny’s topics. (This effect cannot be manually activated and randomly activates after the passive meter is fully charged, the chance this passive activates is 45%, this passive consumes 24% of the passive meter)
Vinny’s fourth passive:
“Infernal Quacks” this passive causes the user to vocalize infernal duck quacks when necessary for a +1 charisma for 50 seconds. (This passive has a 15% chance to activate randomly on a filled meter, this passive consumes 5% of the user’s passive meter when manually activated).
I could see vinny being written as an SCP at this point

Tsukiyomaru Zero the problem is not that they've been associated with pachinko before, we could care less. The problem is that they're using ip's like silent hill, castlevania, Metal Gear and creating shitty pachinko versions instead of making actually good video games with those Ip's. Not mentioning other fuck ups they've done, of course. To me, It's just sad and infuriating.

Man, the sound design in Symphony of the Night is something to marvel. Those sound effects were recorded 20 years ago and yet they're still completely usable to this day.

I love James so much. Literally one of the coolest and nicest people on the planet. He works so damn hard for his fans too. So dedicated.
Vinny's passive isn't causing glitches to happen. His real passive is causing any form of insane shit to happen, from the two trucks twirling through the air to victory in Bridge Constructor, to videogames becoming self-aware, to Bokoblins breaking, and to AVGN popping up just seconds after mentioning him. Glitches are merely a side effect of this passive. Anything goes.
I predict the world will end because of Vinny's streaming. A giant, chunkeh ass will appear in the sky and absorb all life and matter. Nothing will remain but an endless void full of sad clowns.

Metroid Dreadnought is unfinished, in the sense it only has what? One stage? Sadly. It's largely a Gameplay Mod. Space Hunter is also a gameplay mod, yes, but feels more complete.

As far as I can tell, one of the enemies is just The Possessed from either Death Foretold or DOOM4Doom (both of which being “DOOM2016 weapons for classic Doom” mods).
That first level's music is more "Darkwing Duck" than first level of Castlevania II.
I'm not even mad, it's a good cover.
The only thing I didn't like in the mod was the whipping. There's a mod called Nightmare of the Sin that nails the whip perfectly. I wish it was compatible with this mod though. A few tweaks here and there, and you've got yourself a Richter Belmont mode!

My only problem with the original Doom is that when you stop walking the character slide a lot like if was on an ice surface.
The problem is only annoying when theres platforming.

No just drag the wad over gzdoom.exe. Gzdoom is free but if you want the original doom and doom 2 then buy it on steam and drag the wads from the steam download into gzdoom. The steam dosbox version sucks.

Yeah, using music from the Dracula Battle Perfect album is an odd choice. Of all the remixes of Vampire Killer they could've used, they went with one of the not-so-great ones.

I wish I could fully understand how to mod gzdoom so I can play this.
But I don't know how to install brutal doom :/
To play this mod simply drag the wad onto the launcher
To clarify, drag the castlevania wad file onto gzdoom.exe
EpicFaceless so all the sprites, the hud and weapons come with the wad and I don't need to install something else?

Saberlaser Tiger c: the wad file contains the entire game, including code. Textures, sound, everything. Just run it
