When you see the swingers face when he is arm wrestling and the camera pans back and its the wife. Lol I nearly died laughing. Love this show it brilliant 👏
I just had a " Daddy day "....Idiots at work drill through a listed wall. Train delays mean I get home at 9.50pm exhausted. Wife feel asleep with kids early and I decide to by-pass dinner in the oven. Sitting here with some Christmas Brandy and just a big fat smile on my face watching this channel & Benidorm. I doubt we will ever see or enjoy this type of original/wonderful script writing humour again. Relish it & enjoy it.
PS we didnt see it after S3 to be honest, all those different people wanting to write an episode, they made it absolute crap to be honest. Steve pemberton can write but as the episodes went on you see a different writer. Its like Derren ran out of steam and let every other wannabe idiot have a go. It got stupid. Fat Sam running the Solana, that village idiot Liam, other useless characters too. Like that ugly woman Trudy etc and they shdve ditched that withering old noreen years before, she was just irritating without Geoff.

Martin's a great character. So British. A bumbling ball of over politeness and agreeability, seeking to ingratiate and not rock the boat, but beneath all that a deep dark well of repressed anger and emotions that he is keeping in check for the sake of polite society.
I think Martins charecter took a bit of a plunge during the wedding special. The scene where he steals the taxi from Madge and Janice and shows no regard for their situation.

I love how the actress playing The Swinger was a Revrends wife on Keeping Up Appearances it is hillarously how the characters are so different,she is a great actress.
