This is the Lockheed Martin F 35 Lightning 2. The search for a Stealth fighter that can take off and land in tight confines has lasted decades. Lockheed Martin began developing experimental "vertical rising" fighters as early as 1954.
This project evolved from the The Joint Strike Fighter J S F programmed which involved 14 countries and was the focus of the Department of Defense to develop a cost-effective, next-generation strike aircraft weapon system for the US Navy and Air Force.
The Harrier was one such aircraft that had achieved this engineering feat.
it’s technology was ahead of its time, but it has its flaws like every engineering marvel.
During vertical landing, it would turn over multiple times due to turbulence from its own downwash. On the tip of each wing, included a small roll control nozzle which had to be controlled manually by the pilot to stabilize the aircraft for safe landing.
However, the F35B Short Take Off and Vertical Landing system, STOVL was an improvement, combining vertical landing with long-range supersonic speed, resulting in a stealthy, lightning-fast fighter capable of carrying modern weaponry.

The 25mm cannon doesn't mean anything towards the other weapons it can carry. With the use of precision guided munations, such as the GBU-24, GBU-31, and the new advanced GBU-53
It can accurately hit targets from afar without the pilot having to worry they might get hit , performing a strafe run that is excessively dangerous in contested airspaces and can cause friendly fire incidents( i am looking at the A-10 over here) , thanks to its IFF and datalink systems. It can also carry long range missles like the AARGM-ER "HARM" and the newly introduced
Edit: at 4:00 the munations on the inner side of the wings are AGM-114(D?) Hellfires are laser guided missiles , used specifically by helicopters , not fixed wing aircraft , thought i understand the confusion since they look near similar to the SPEAR-lll
Second edit: 5:31 it says F-45A and F-35B . It was a typographical mistake which is fine .

Good video, but unfortunately all the F-35 models you've used are the F-35B model but slightly modified to highlight the major differences. Maybe you're using the old planned unified model from when it was still a prototype?
Only the F-35B model has the hunchback & shortened glass cockpit, to accomodate the main lift fan. Both the F-35A & the F-35C have the elongated cockpit for better visibility.
The F-35C also have its horizontal tails cut through a bit of the main wing's rear, for increased lift.
Thanks everyone for the video Correction.
We accept full responsibility for the mistakes we make, even after 3 months of work :(
Don't worry about it. Lovely video.
Project wingman refrance?!?!?
This massive discrepancy exists despite the fact that there is no gender bias in the law favoring females.
Whether you like it or not, the welfare system forces you as a man to pay for single women, many of whom, as you know, are degenerates.
Without welfare and all kinds of affirmative action promoting women in the workplace, women can't support themselves. The feminist welfare state just distributes the burden of taking care of women to all working men. So you, as a man, have the burden of financially supporting these women without any benefit in return, women who will berate you and call you an incel if you disagree with how stunning and brave they are.
Basically, Western liberalism forces you as a man to fund the lifestyle of women drinking, sleeping around with a new man every night, popping anti depressants like candy, going to the womens march on weekends to whine about how oppressed they are. You're literally subsidizing all that.
Women being free is not free. Someone has to foot the bill.
Islam says, no. No one gets a free ride. You want to be taken care of, you have to be in a marriage as an obedient wife. And if you dont want to be an obedient wife, go be a burden on your father, who didn't raise you right. And if you don't want to live under your father's roof, go live in the wilderness or beg on the streets. See how long you last there..

@@d.bcooper2271 The biggest welfare recipients by far are the billionaires getting increasing tax cuts year after year. They suck the money created by the whole of society to themselves like cancer. For the last 50 years liberalism inspired by Regan's trickle down thievery has left us today with the largest billionaire net worth, and the smallest middle class, and the largest poor. If you're worried about giving money to the poor, then stop bankrupting the middle class. Poverty is engineered.

:) It is more complicated than that. These Military Engineering are mostly in the Grey Area
It's a joke ha ha but take note they did somewhat stole the F22 specs
@@DOI_ARTS yes they Stole around 100TB of data. It is true. But our video are very Basic
@@DOI_ARTS They did copy some features but they're still behind when it comes to avionics and electronics even their engine is a joke.
@@SHVRWK Yes maybe in another 10 years they will have the perfect built because stealth and radar is open knowledge but Hardware and functioning is more complicated, for now they will settle for what they have.

Former Boeing here... great explanation in easy to understand terms. We always walked a tightrope discussing military projects to outsiders. If information is already in public sphere, you can talk, but are cautioned to keep it simple. Other topics might still be classified, if you don't know for sure, then don't talk about it. High Security Clearances give you access to things not to be shared in public. I remember the RAM on F-18. Most never knew that F-18 is actually a good stealth fighter as long as weapons or fuel tanks aren't hanging off the hard points on wings.
Hi again Steven Rohrich.Yes these are declassified information we got from the Company Lockheed Martin itself.
70% are all basic information only 30% needs a little bit of digging.
Thank you for your comment!
@@Aitelly Thank you, enjoyed your post.
Wait the f18 is actually stealthy with no weapons? No way, that’s actually really cool
@@aceofaces1506 Thanks - F-18 needle nose, canopy, hidden intakes, slanted tail work better than the F-15
@@SJR_Media_Group And as I understand, the frontal RCS is lower than the smaller F-16 too.
Ps. I have a specific question that has to do with RCS and the old mechscan radars, mind if I PM you?
I’m surprised not more of this is classified! I’m going into the aerospace field and have been obsessed with this generation of fighters, so I definitely appreciate the awesome video here.
Most of it we got from Lockheed Martin the company.
But they are willing release the blueprint of the prototype version.
If it's not classified that means they have more advanced technology that we do not know.
Since F35s are supplied to nato nations , they are inadvertently have to declassify information.
@@BluePhantom003 Somewhat True but there are 4000 parts supplier for the F35 joint Strike Fighter.
So some where here and there,
they will have to declassify.
The F22 Raptor was one which is mostly still Classified

Its a marvel of engineering. A very deadly capable aircraft as long as the maintenance can be sustained along with the computer electronics needed for it to fly.
Yes it is
What's interesting is that the cost per flight hour of F-35 is currently around 33-36K$ (and falling), while for F-16C Viper it's some 12.5K$. Not that much difference in terms of maintenance and such, given that all modifications of F-35 are simply larger, carry more fuel and are much more complex overall than the F-16 (or other 4th Gen fighter jets). F-35 even consumes less fuel per NM on average, which is pretty remarkable.
Its price per unit is currently also on par with the European 4.5 Gen fighter jets, that aren't even close in performance (particularly in terms of stealth). A few years back it was significantly more expensive though.
@@pasheg4345Sometimes makes me wonder what the Russians could mass produce if they had the money like we did.
