The girls never spents a night with you and except for Kawakami and the doctor almost no dialogue sounds like there is more happening than some half-assed cuddling. When I think of christmas eve in Persona 4 , even though not as clear as 3 at least already on christmas there were some strong hints that at least some action happened in your futon.

There's not really any teacher for Souji to bring home. Certainly wouldn't trust Ms. Super Thirsty enough to even form a social link with her. You'd think that with such a wide assortment of Shadows, one of them would give me nightmares. But no, it was that one female teacher from P4. I have nightmares for days after seeing her in the game.

Have to admit that it is a bit weird that Souji didn't have a teacher he could romance, though. Minato/Makoto had Ms. Toriumi/Maya and Akira has Ms. Kawakami. Souji is the only one who doesn't have a romance with a teacher.
So Minato has a bro squad that can save him from the wrath of multiple angry girlfriends. Yu is just... you know, deadpan savage sister-complex pimp. And Akira/Ren is interested in older women, and is also freaking adorable.

I know this is morally wrong in terms of a student, teacher relarionship, but Kawakami was the only romance option that had any appeal to me (before Royal, but I've only recently started playing that version so I'm not entirely sure yet). Most of the other characters didn't appeal to me. Futaba is great, but she feels too much like a little sister, which is one dynamic that I really liked about their interaction, Ann is... okay, but her personality clashes with mine, and Makoto... is the closesed I could get to a second favorite, but something feels off about her and Joker getting together. All the other characters, no offense, just didn't warrant a passing glance from me except for anything they might provide with their arcana. Kawakami feels all too human to me, funny (besides the maid stuff), and just feels like a natural choice despite the taboo relationship and the precedent it would set in the relationship. Maybe its because I also personally like her as an older woman as compared to the many "highschoolers" you come across as dating material.
