CK2 Game of Thrones | House Vaekar #1 | From The Ashes

- Hey everyone and welcome back to the Citadel with me Grand Maester Stitch, where we start our first custom character lets play on the CK2 AGOT mod as house Vaekar.
Aenys Vaekar, the last remaining member of a Bastard branch of an old powerful Valyrian family, they’ve never had any dragons of there own and were only a very minor house but like most Valyrian family’s they did have their own Valyrian Steel sword, which is still in their possession to this day.
The founder of the Home is ouse, Daeron Vaekar was away at war at the time of the Doom, so unlike the majority of the Valyrian lords was sparred from the mass destruction that took place, how ever did lose all his lands and possessions except for his Valyrian steel sword and a few prized possessions. All of which, except the sword, have been sold over the years to keep the family alive, whilst moving from City to city and fighting for all Manner of different sellsword companies.
Now in the present day, Aeneys Vaekar, has dreams and ambitions of building a new Valyrian Empire, even greater than what came before, which seemed impossible and any swords he tried to convince and bind to his course believed him to be mad... and rightly so, for surly it can not be done, as many have tried and failed since the doom... but aenys knows things they do not, for he posses a power only few Dragon lords possess, he has dragon dreams... and it is these dreams that after being turned down and laughed away by so many powerful, Kings, lords, so called emperors and even merchants, that leads him to travel deep in to the heart of old Valyria and is smoking seas, unlike everyone else though aneys returns... but not alone he brings with him a monsterous beast, a dragon of colossus size and surly the last surviving dragon of the old empire, apart from those owned by the petty Targaryen lords that fled the freehold many years before the doom... Aenys never speaks of the horrors he seen whilst in Valyria, yet he came back having the appearance of a man 20 years his senior, covered in horrific burns, scars and missing a hand, a small price he says to bind a mighty beast to his side, with which he will use to conquer the world!
Now he takes a smoking Volcano on a dark field as his sigil to both mock and boast of his journey in to the Doom, as well as a reminder of his heritage and what became of his powerful ancestors, aswell as the house words ‘from the ashes’ to point out the rebirth of what will be the 2nd coming of the greatest empire the world has ever known..
The only thing that could possibly get in his way is House Targaryen, yet for some reason they seem to have their eyes set on the lands of the 7 petty kings of the sunset kingdoms, instead of the Wealth and riches of the free cities, slavers bay and beyond...
House Vaekar is completely made up and not part of GRRM's asoiaf series.

Create a vassal called erion a ex slave of you family that served aenys as a bodyguard in the army and make him 40 years old please!

Not sure if you'll see this, but I've been enjoying watching your GoT CK2 playthroughs and I was just wondering which DLC's and other mods you use when playing these games. This series looks exciting, can't wait to binge the playlist!
I'm really glad you're enjoying, if you like this series, you'll definitely like Knights of Andalia it's my best series by far! I have most DLCs running and mods I think just the basic game, advanced trade routes and better dragon portraits for this one!
Oh I think that Gemini and Axel had a baby so the fossoway bastard has already had a bastard. But at least his name will live on. Also maybe you could marry the two girls of your vassals to yourself. I know they are younger but maybe it would show a sign of forgiveness and peace since you technically took their land. Also did you set your custom courtiers special interest so you can keep up with them and their lives
Oh wow I didn't even notice that haha man it didn't take them long... not a bad idea or I could marry them to some of my loyal council members, keeping everyone close! :)

Yes I’m using the latest update and it depends what series I’m playing as I have a lot of sub mods for different eras, then I also use just small base CK2 mods now and again, that improve just little details and no problem about the questions, happy to help in anyway I can!

Can a character be customized to look like a dragon? and also how to have custom characters other than your own
I know it's a bit of a late comment to this video, but how do you spawn specific troops, like unsullied?
Oh, and congratulations on your newborn :)
For spawning normal event troops there is a console command and for the unsullied I just purchased them from Astapor :)
