You should have visited the Holy Rosary Church it was just 2 minutes away. There are museums, parks and the national parliament house nearby too.

tbh try not to stay in dhaka if you wanna enjoy our country,
dhaka is an unplanned chaotic place, though out side is much more comfortable i'd say.
Ya it was pretty intense, and I really enjoyed it, but I know I didn't really "See" Bangladesh since I didn't make it out of Dhaka. I'll make sure to visit more cities next time!
