Best recovery CHRIS GORE!! We all await your return!
Hail the Fellowship!
Hail the 199!
Hail Film Threat!!

May you recover and be healthy.
My heart goes out to Chris and his family.
The hell happened to Chris?
Chris had a minor stroke in Las Vegas he's still in the hospital, and he's going to recovery therapy. He's determined to come back, and rest assured he'll come back. @@TheCinemaElite
@@theequalizer9154 omg. Get well Chris!
@@theequalizer9154
Hmm Vegas, maybe alcohol or something cause
Oh no.
We love you Chris
Get well soon, Chris! Alan, you’ve got this. Keep making the videos, and we’ll be here to watch them. You boys rock 👍
I have five sons. The first two were absolutely opposites. This isn't just a trope. Sounds like an interesting movie and I love NC.
Get well soon Chris
Praying for Chris's recovery and for his family to be strong for him.
Thanks Allen and Co for keeping things going! ❤🙏🏻
Hey does anyone know how we can help Chris out at all?? I'll definitely be praying for him and his family but I want to know if there's anything else we can do for him? Edit: Alan you're doing a great job with Chris being gone!
Get well soon Chris. Hoping it's not too bad.
Hope you get well soon Chris ! Praying for you !
Film makers who have an almost entirely urban background always fail to have a clue how tight small rural communities are, I grew up in very rural ranching area around a a tiny village of a "town", moved to a big cities suburbs as an adult and now have moved back to that general area around a town of 1200 people and the community is TIGHT, it absolutely would band together to face a common threat as would almost all rural places. We are a community, we do not behave like urban people.
You are right! Written by a City person. Circle the wagons !
It's always good to see Nicholas Cage have a good movie. He's always been a favorite and he makes everything he is in better for it. Raising Arizona is his greatest flick!
This movie was trash.
Praying for you Chris. Blessings to your family.
Praying 🙏 for you to get well ASAP Chris!!!!!! Bless you and your family ❤
Seeing 3 white males like protagonist at this time is refreshing
I hope Chris is better very soon.
Eager to see Chris again after his speedy recovery! Gj this ep Al!
The farm family was just off in the situation. It's been 15 years. Those kind of people would have been gone the first day of invasion.
Finally guys! A good Film!
This premise needs to be a show!
Finally. Something good to look forward to. Thanks for filtering the garbage for all of us Film Threat fans. Chris will be spewing he missed this video....get well man.
Just heard about Chris. So sorry to hear this. Get well, man. Sending all my best wishes.
This film wasn’t on my radar at all before but after this review, I’ll be checking it out. Get well, Chris!
Is this a limited release? It isn’t showing in my area right now or in the near future.
Prayers for Chris and his family. 🤟🏻🙏🏻
Get well, Frank. Miss ya.
The producer saved a lot of money by shooting this story with his mobile phone.
Hopefully Chris will get better soon.
Since "Mandy," (the greatest horror movie ever made), I consider everything Cage appears in a must-try-to-see....
What do the monsters look like?
We can't talk about that as there are pictures of the monsters on the screen behind Alan.
This movie sounds badass ... Get well soon CG
When are you guys going to release more of this stuff in podcast form? I prefer listening as a podcast on-the-go
Get well soon, Chris!
It’s a HP Lovecraft family movie. I enjoyed it.
My heart goes out to Chris Watts for getting caught so quickly
Saw this last night. Only 1 showing at one theater. You can tell it was a lower budget and they used the CGI at night
Inventive creature design, story kinda bland. I think it's worth a rental. I wouldn't rush out to see it cause of the janky CGI.
Cage isn't as much as i would have liked. It feels like a higher budget Sci-Fi channel movie.
I wouldn't say i "loved it", but i did like the premise.
Good/bad cgi doesn't bother me much. The story is good then.
@@ceasarsaran8573 yeah as I said I can forgive the lower budget cgi. but the story is OK. Not bad, but just kinda seen it all before. It's a decent little film
@@bluecollarloser6654 Sounds good. I get it.
I agree it was extremely mediocre
. 😢. But, really. Get well. Gore is the best. Edit: I thought he had the flu or something. Didn't know it was serious. Damn. Send Chris love! ❤️
He's not dead
Dont say that. Its sick.
@@ceasarsaran8573 He will be missed. 😔
Are we certain it's a stroke, or are we just still waiting for Chris to find a reason to laugh at "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire"?
I can’t believe no one is warning people that this movie is full of shaky cam footage. Worse than the Jason Bourne films. If you hate shaky cam, avoid this movie.
Nick almost never disappoints. Except for The Wicker Man.
The Bees ! The Bees ! Meme Gold
Nic Cage is a god burdened with Massive Talent ! All hail Nicolas Cage !!
Its more like the film "It comes at night"
Cage was good. The movie wasn't bad, it just seemed meh.
Alien, werewolf dogs that dig, and only come out at night but have Stretch Armstrong arms and travel in groups of balls was a bit much.
It had elements that worked, I just think if the creature was fleshed out in a different way, it could have been better.
Like another reviewer, I was the only person in the theater for this one.
It saddens me that I can't think about masculinity in film without the context of parts of society demonizing men's strengths and neutral behaviours. Either way, I can't wait to see this. I'm sure I'd love it.
I hadn’t even heard of it, but now I’m intrigued. Thanks, gents!!
it was pretty good I guess, but it could’ve been better 🤷🏻♂️
I thought the shakey cam was annoying as H, and Nicolas Cage looked like he was deep faked… and I would’ve liked a bit more drama between the brothers… and like, what if Cage had actually died earlier in the movie, and the rest of the story was just about the brothers coming to forgive each other?
Nicolas Cage is always great, but if the dog dies I'm not watching it. 😂😂
I'm with you.
It’s safe for you to watch then.
@@awkwardsilence4427 Alright, thank you! :)
Nick Cage still has plenty of masterclass roles left in him. Glad he is as disgusted by Wokeness as the rest of us are
What? I movie where the white father isn’t garbage? No sign of a strong womam(tm) to emasculate him? This is gonna make bank
why are the aliens so...beastly? i mean, they have to be smart to get here, but when they get here, they are just rabid animals?
Ha yeah, but whatever fits the script. You could ask why all the aliens/beings in the original Star Trek were always humanoid too even though the chances of that happening in the vastness of space is...not high 😉
This is a Mish mash of several much better movies
I dont get how they like this
Easy on the spoilers guys... love your channel but can you discuss the films without giving so much away?
I mean...that sure is a hyperbolic thumbnail lol. Is it REALLY that different from most monster/apocalyptic/survival/invasion movies? Nah not really. Is it a great movie? F*ck yes it is.
Nah it’s not great.
The creature design is 💯. Great flick.
they say "are we not men?"
Yeah. Though I was close!
😥😥😥
This movie sucked. The plot holes were so glaring. The writing was so lazy. The only good thing was the acting - which couldn't save it.
This movie sounds so cool, but I'm a wuss and I can't handle horror stuff
Man up!
Wait, am I allowed to say that anymore? ;)
Love it!! We need some masculinity in this generation of movie making!!⭐️⭐️⭐️
I didnt like the movie. It felt like a dollar store version of a quiet place. Very dissapointing.
Are we not men ?
I get what they're saying, but I saw this a couple of days ago. it's NOT that great of a movie.
There's really not a set up (not always that necessary anyway), but you do kind of have to give the audience SOMETHING. For example, if the aliens only come out at night, how did society fall to sh!t to this degree? And there's a reason they alluded in the podcast to the fact that it was open to sequels. It's because the movie doesn't have any real resolution.
Yes, Nic Cage is more than just a cameo. He's in some pivotal scenes but, as they said, the movie is more about the sons. Once the director had gotten what he needed from Cage, he sidelines him for about the last half of the film. And only one of the boys is particularly entertaining. The other's character is just dude pining for a girl.
The other farm the kids go to when they need medicine, as indicated in the podcast, isn't really explained. Nor are the motivations of the owners regarding much of anything regarding the farm or their attitude toward those who do not live there.
The "aliens" ARE kind of cool. They're also kind of ridiculous. Cool attacks and appearance that biology and physics likely wouldn't support, but whatever. It's a movie. But imagine if the creatures from the Alien franchise pursued people over distance by a dozen or so of them forming a large wheel so they can roll after you.
It's solid for what it is. It's not bad. It's just nothing special. Monkey Man falls short of its marketing as the Indian John Wick, but I think most people would likely enjoy it more than Arcadian.
Take care.
Interesting take (I haven't seen it). It did cross my mind whether the guys would be so positive if it weren't for the state of movies right now. I'm not saying their not right but it did all sound quite generic but happy to be put straight ☺️
@@elone3997 They really seem into the whole "men teaching boys to be men" thing, which is kind of true. But to me that's just not enough to keep me entertained. It does very much feel like it was made to have sequels, so the amount of resolution you get kind of follows along those lines.
@@cobbler88 I think I'd give it a shot when/if it starts streaming but won't go out of my way to track it down then...
I watched this movie off the back of this review. I'm sorry but this movie was appalling. I can only assume an AI constructed this movie, no human could be this void of coherent ideas.
Hope your OK Chris?
