Thankyou soooo muchhh!! I am a Bharatnatyam dancer myself and have tried to tie it numerous times like this but never seem to get it right. You really lifted a huge burden off my shoulders. 🙌💖
Fun fact is that apart from the staple Nivi style practiced in Tamilnadu nowadays, historically Men AND women of higher castes and classes were portrayed wearing this style, case in point, every painting in every ancient temples in the South. This style was favoured by royals and court dancers equally, as well as the common folk were depicted wearing this style. Women used a full length saree and men incorporated the veshti and angavastram, similar to modern day bharatnatyam costume. As times progressed, this style has had strong association to bharatnatyam rather than a regular style due to Victorian views degrading Indian fashion. I hope that this style becomes mainstream once more
We use the word nivu to mean pleates while performing shraddha rituals

Never been a dancer. But found your CZcams channel quite by accident. And now I’m binging. Also made my first purchase on your website, so cannot wait for my products to reach to Melbourne.
Much love and positive vibes your way ❤️
Just curious, has your feet arrived yet? If so, do you like it? I'm thinking of ordering.

Hi sister, you look so beautiful🥰🥰 and your spoken in English are great. I have a request to you hope you do it. You speak very firstly and some word I can't understand because I am from Bangladesh hope you speak slowly. Lastly i say that your every video are beneficial for my learning English.🥰🥰🥰🥰
❤️😘😍
Can you keep this drape for small children
Wowww you are truly amazing and the different ways you drape us stunning. One suggestion try using pegs while pleating before you pin it up for the final. That way you won't end up making holes in your beautiful sarees. Also love your underskirts. Is it available in Mumbai. God bless you
I've tried using pegs/binder clips and just find that safety pins are easier :) But totally agree, if you can get away with not using safety pins during pleating, that would definitely be better!
We ship worldwide - including all over India. You can find all the info here: tiabhuva.com/pages/saree-silhouettes

My Darling I am from PORTUGAL thank you for your videos. Please what kind of fabric can I use to do this king wrap for dance? This saree what fabric is?
It's silk, there's several varieties of silk sarees all over India. What she used in this video is the Kanchivaram Saree, named after Kanchipuram district, Tamilnadu, the southern state of India
Can this be done with a dance saree? Or is it too short?
Yes a dance saree would be too short in width ♥️
