Day two! Yesterday was horrible but today is better. No body shakes, only a little in the hands. Lots of water, and some Pepto for the nausea. I spent the entire day watching positive videos about lifestyle changes and brain rewiring. Thanks again for the videos Tim and motivation. I'll be watching them on repeat. My daily mantra is "I only choose what is nurturing to my mind and body. I am worthy of the best most fulfilling life possible".

Wow! This sounds like my brain… It starts with a tiny whisper and if you entertain it, it’ll grow, into a monster quick.

Hi Tim, I have been working on quitting but the body tremors are so horrible I end up drinking again to get them to stop and I'm not able to take time off work until August. I think you mentioned tips in another video but I wanted to reach out. Thank you for all your videos. I am in counseling for depression and PTSD. I practice breath work and listen to positive morning affirmation videos every morning. I am also taking vitamins every day based off one of your videos.

Hi Savi , I really feel for you I know how hard it is🙏🏼 However if your tremors are that severe you cannot just stop without a little help! Reducing doesn’t work moderation never works if you have issues around alcohol. You may need a medical detox , they will give you the medication you need to stay safe. That would mean time off work of course, phone in sick if you have to ! But you have to take responsibility and put your recovery first ! You are doing the other stuff right re counseling, diet , supplements etc you just have to address the dependence! You CAN do it ! Also seek out a support group of your choice , doesn’t matter if it’s aa or online etc but you need peer support! Good luck Savi , nevergiveup and Keep fighting!👊

@@andicooper4734 Thank you so much. We can't undo the past but we can control the present. I wish I never started drinking to cope with my depression, anxiety & PTSD. It only made it worse. I'm proud of you & keep up the good fight. We are all worthy of living the best life possible. I'm working on my healing journey as should we all. Love & blessings to you.

Hello Tim, it’s Shane Jay. We have communicated for quite some time. I was a good friend of Rockin Roberta. The anniversary of her passing is coming up on the 26th of this month. I am getting a few people together to record some words of remembrance and want to make a nice memorial montage for her. Please let me know if you would be willing to take part as I know Rebekah really admired you and I do as well and would be honored to have you involved in this little project. Thank you and God bless! 🙏🏼

Hi Tim I've been watching your videos for several years now. Along with several other peoples. I'm one of those unfortunate souls who is looking for a "magic cure" I KNOW there isn't one but it sure doesn't keep me from looking. I havean opiate addiction that has lasted approximately 16-17 years the last 6-7 have been higher doses. I KNOW you give tons of informative information on here trust me I watch. But I am someone who has never even made it through the acute state.I know the battle isn't won just by getting through the acutes,I know the mental and PAWS come afterward. But I desperately NEED a game plan to get through that initial acute state. It is unfortunate because I just started a new job about 6 months ago so I have no time off other than weekends. And even when I do get time off its only a week and my job makes it hard to ever take that 5 days all at once.because I'd have to much catch up to do. Can you or one of your other subscribers possible help me figure out a game plan? I'm getting desperate and that's never a good place to be. I TRULY want to stop but I won't lie I fear the withdrawal..... Only made it 5 days at my longest and it wasn't letting up at all. So I caved, IV tried other times but never made it that far since. There are a whole host of symptoms as you well know but the insomnia (while having to work) is probably the worst. The anxiety and restlessness, and restlessness legs are probably next in line. I also have horrendous muscle cramps. PLEASE any help would be much appreciated more than you'll ever know. How have you gone through this on your own????

Thank you so very, very much. I really could use any help and or advice I can get. I’m losing hope that I will ever beat this monster. Watching you and knowing you’ve done it many times on your own? Helps just to hear! But yes please think on it and see what you can come up with I sure am at a loss. And special props to you for having done this on your own both alcohol and opiates. You must have a strong will!

Lula, what are you taking? I’m struggling with the insomnia now too and and formulating a little DIY plan of my own making. When I wake up at 2 or 3, I am taking an OTC dissolving melatonin. I haven’t heard of anyone having a reaction to it but I am no professional and am in process of making a plan to rid myself of all this stuff as efficiently as possible.
And thanks again Tim for your honest and inspiring posts❤️

I used to buy and stockpile alcohol even when i wasn't drinking, i would obsess over alcohol all the time and would just constantly go out and buy unbelievable amounts and got addicted to buying it without even drinking it ! The obsession for collecting the cans and bottles, spending so much money on it. Insanity.
