Yes, due to size and logistical problems, there are quite a few poor towns in between major cities but ghetto areas are almost non-existent when compared to the US or Western Europe, where ghetto areas have become a growing plague in major cities like London, Berlin, Paris, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, etc. One could freely walk at any time of the night in Moscow without the fear of being mugged.

If I had to decide between living in the USA or Russia, I would rather live in Russia. Yes, the standard of living in Moscow is certainly high, and somewhere in the city of Magadan 10,000 kilometers east of Moscow, it is very low. And the difference is huge. But if I saw the life that people live in Los Angeles, and later in New York, I am convinced that life in Russia is better. I can't even imagine the lives of people in Detroit or Baltimore. I am very happy to live in Europe, where the life we value still works, because in America I felt that life was worthless. I don't want to offend anyone, but I was in Russia and I just have to say that there are nice and hospitable people there who have big hearts. I was robbed in America ... don't believe the news from the internet that everything is great in America and everything is bad in Russia. I am convinced otherwise

(Я был в Москве 5 лет в Советское время). Я также видел Мерседес с номерным знаком 161CD и флагом Вьетнама (моей страны), двигаться по этой дороге.
На 7:15 лада есть. Дальше не вглядывался. У россиян стереотип касательно отечественных автомобилей. Плюс ценовая политика такова, что лучше взять иномарку, больше машины за те же деньги

All types of yellow taxi are Moscow taxi and all types of white with yellow line are Moscow region (the suburb) ones. All ot them have licenses to work both in Moscow and in the suburb, and this is the only difference. And there is no matter if they have white (common type) or yellow (public transport type) registration plate. After computer based CCTV watch on public transport was implemented in Moscow the yellow plates became obsolete, because all registration numbers of buses and taxi are in the database now and no matter what type of. So now a legal taxi in Moscow is yellow or white with yellow line car with taxi sign and with kind of chess insignia (pattern).

Дорога широкая, по 5 полос с каждой стороны, много немецких, японских и корейских машин, но я не вижу ни одной русской машины типа Волги, Лады ....!!?? (Я был в Москве 5 лет в Советское время). Я также видел Мерседес с номерным знаком 161CD и флагом Вьетнама (моей страны), двигаться по этой дороге.

На 7:15 лада есть. Дальше не вглядывался. У россиян стереотип касательно отечественных автомобилей. Плюс ценовая политика такова, что лучше взять иномарку, больше машины за те же деньги

All types of yellow taxi are Moscow taxi and all types of white with yellow line are Moscow region (the suburb) ones. All ot them have licenses to work both in Moscow and in the suburb, and this is the only difference. And there is no matter if they have white (common type) or yellow (public transport type) registration plate. After computer based CCTV watch on public transport was implemented in Moscow the yellow plates became obsolete, because all registration numbers of buses and taxi are in the database now and no matter what type of. So now a legal taxi in Moscow is yellow or white with yellow line car with taxi sign and with kind of chess insignia (pattern).
@@Yuri_Nikitin Well, thanks for the information ... they recently introduced a blue plate with a common serial record in Madrid to order the taxi sector ... and Cabify and Uber cars are required to put this type of plate ... also they have a database of car licenses and registration numbers.
