I bought tekken 8 just so I can play King. Lil Majin inspired me. But, I feel like I ALWAYS get juggled into oblivion.
I will say this if your using King he is pretty durable, you have to find an opening to counter back, and use your own King combos sometimes fast characters can be your worst enemy but don't worry, sometimes it takes effort in using your character

You have to improve your defense if you’re getting launched a lot
At first ofcourse when youre just starting out youll get your ass kicked but after a while youll start to know what and when to attack or block. Keep goin man and have funn

funny thing about WR2,2, whenever you go into practice the game actually reccomends that against jins D2 as an actual punish.

I struggle like hell against mishimas/kazamas. Especially Jin and Kazuya. Too many high-low strings. I'll try my best to block but there's always some that slip through and launch me
Back dash and ducking helps
And avoid wake up attacks they usually get you when you wake up, I think rolling is better when getting up against mishima zaibatsu, and I usually use all of my safe attacks usually more against them so I don't get counter hit

@@FlyXcur Now, you pretty much can't react with a parry at all. If you want to do it, you have to guess, but that's so unsafe. There's no point in doing it now at all. Just block, why take the risk.

Don't know why those dumbasses at Bamco thought he needed nerfs. Just because he does good against casuals and scrubs in online ranked doesn't mean shit. He hasn't won any significant tournament in T8 yet and has done barely done anything in mid to high level competitive which should always be the most important levels for balancing. Especially when compared to many other characters that are way bigger problems and have done way more at those levels than he ever will. He's still a mid tier like he always is people need to stop crying and realize he's not a problem. The problem is that most of these casual scrubs just aren't skilled enough and are too lazy to learn how to beat a simple knowledge check character.

All the noobs who are new to tekken and dont understand its mechanics may disagree but King was nerfed soon as he arrived on tekken 8. Tekken 7 king was faster,more damage, and more mixups, good combo damage. Now on tekken 8 they left majin with nothing especially since this most recent nerf. He got 4 new nerfs and one move buff which isnt rly useful or needed...the mishma wave dash but they nerfed kings crouch punish game which is a bad trade. I rly think theyre trying to nerf majin cuz the asians are scared he would do damage like he did in 2019 making history. All the black characters and king are nerfed through the ground while literally every other character is super buffed even the bears. Im so surprised majin still wins even tho they have like 8 or 9 active nerfs altogether on king. King is such a weak character but Majin somehow manages to beat these OP characters its crazy.

Ppl who play Tekken like it. It's just part of Tekken so it's either you love it or hate it. I'm on the side I like it personally cause it shows creativity with some players who actually put in the work.
most including me like it because theres so many combos u could do, like original or unique ones even so it shows the mastery imo, its pretty good. plus all fighting games juggle like that tbh
Combos are part of Tekken. Not the most important part by any means, but important enough that they're a prominent element in most people's playstyles. Also combos are a part of fighting games in general.

I never really played Tekken 7 or 8 (I still play Tekken 5 religiously lmao) but I always enjoy seeing combos like these. Especially with insane conversions it's hella hype

Agreed, but I see both sides of the spectrum. The game is obviously now made to appeal to a much broader audience, which is a good thing.
I just hate that back dashing is worse, along with neutral block, allowing you to get clipped by mids while trying to create distance.
