Das „Tor nach Namibia“ ist die Hauptstadt Windhoek. Zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Christuskirche oder das Unabhängigkeitsmuseum sind Erkundungen und Ausflüge wert. Gleichzeitig bildet die Stadt auch den Ausgangspunkt der vier Reiserouten im Iwanowski Reiseführer Namibia, die hier kurz vorgestellt werden.

Eine ideale Tour für alle, die das ganze Land erkunden möchten: Die rund 21-tägige Fahrt (wie alle anderen Touren auch mit optionalen Elementen zur Verkürzung oder Verlängerung) führt Sie von Windhoek in den Süden zum Fish River Canyon, dem zweitgrößten Canyon der Erde, und weiter in die Hafenstadt Lüderitz. Von dort aus fahren Sie nach Swakopmund und dann für ausgiebige Tierbeobachtungen in den Etosha-Nationalpark. Im Iwanowski Reiseführer Namibia finden Sie für jeden Tourabschnitt die km-Angaben, sodass Sie Fahrtzeiten perfekt einkalkulieren können.

Diese ca. 17-tägige Tour führt Sie durch Gebiete der Sossusvlei-Pfanne mit ihren riesigen Sanddünen. Dort warten die Phillips-Höhle mit ihren berühmten Felsmalereien und die „Bull’s Party“ auf Sie.
Nach Pirschfahrten im Etosha-Nationalpark kehren Sie über Okonjima, wo Sie das AfriCat-Projekt besuchen, nach Windhoek zurück.

Nach dem Besuch von sehenswerten Aussichtspunkten am Fish River Canyon fahren Sie durch die Diamanten-Namib nach Lüderitz, weiter durch die Tirasberge und den schroffen Kuiseb Canyon nach Swakopmund. Die Tierwelt Afrikas erleben: Fahrt durch den Caprivi-Streifen
Diese Tour führt Sie durch den Caprivi-Streifen und bis nach Sambia. Sie haben genügend Zeit für Wanderungen und Tierbeobachtungen, beispielsweise im Mahango Game Reserve in der Grenznähe zu Botswana. Erleben Sie außerdem aufregende Bootssafaris im Mudumu National Park oder Pirschfahrten im berühmten Chobe National Park in Botswana. Der Endpunkt der Tour stellen die Victoria-Fälle in Simbabwe dar.

Great video, I loved going through Etosha last year - wish I could've flown there, so lucky you got in before they locked it down. As of mid-2018 you can't fly in Etosha park, you have to declare drones and they put little crimped locks on your cases that they take off when you exit. (Just so others are aware)

Hi Muddy, usually I use a Rode mic on top of my cam. Another great way to record some ambient sound is via a separate mic like the "zoom" mic... Thanks Marcin

This scene was about storytelling - it was my girlfriend of course but I have few women friends who traveled as hitchhiker around the world - so why not.
