How to RDP between VMware Workstation and Host PC. By making all network adapters the same subnet.

- Setup VMware Workstation adapter to be on the same subnet as the Host PC.
So we can do RDP into the VM after.
-my Host PC subnet is
192.168.1.0 from the ISP.
I have 5 VMs (virtualization) host on a single PC. I want all this deaktps to able to connect to the host PC.
I will use Remote Desktop (RDP) from the Host PC into those VMs.
-All you have do is setup all the network adapter to be on the same subnet:
192.168.1.0
in VMWARE and on the host PC.
*The key take away of this lab is any devices belong to the same subnet (network) will be able to talk to each others.
***If you can NOT ping or connect between the Host PC and VMs PC...
go to Host PC / control Panel / network and sharing center / change adapter settings / select VMnet19,
then disable and re-enable it. And check the NIC adapters IP address are on the same subnet.

OK, to do RDP from the Host PC to the VM:
-open up RDP and enter the IP address of that VM.
Login into Domain:

Note, before you can do RDP:
- you set up that user in AD first, and make it a member of Remote Desktop
-next, in that VM go to / control panel / system / remote setting / select, Allow remote connection
-Click, Select Users
-add the user to be able to remote in RDP into this PC.
