"You're only calling me a pedophile because you got molested as a kid" and "I woulda been caught by now because I'm too famous" are the two worst ways to defend yourself from sex crime allegations and somehow Drake used both defenses in a song.............
The first one is a good diss
He's basically saying Kendrick is projecting his insecurities and trauma onto drake
Drake's fans, speaking on the 17 y/o on stage, are really out here talking about "What? She was 17 and the age of consent is 16 in Canada" as if that makes it better.
@@Jaey33 It's not a good diss when it's false information. His mother got molested, Kendrick didn't. It was wack.
Not to mention, that Kendrick song was basically saying that person didnât touch Kendrick, so a pointless diss
@@Jaey33itâs not because he never was molested as a kid⊠in the Mother I song Kendrickâs mom was the one molested. Drake misinterpreted the song and then still used it to make fun of victims of sexual assault (Kendrickâs mom) which if you feel like is a good diss đđđ

The irony of Drake claiming Kendrick didn't bother fact checking and then literally getting the facts wrong about the lyrical content of Mother I Sober a few bars later is hilarious
Do you really think drake doesnât understand the song? Like cmon kendrick fans
Kendrickâs own damn mom was saying it was true in that very song, according to kendrick.
And all you know about it is according to kendrick.
â@@20boots52do you not have access to the internet perhaps? Do you know about a website called genius or even spotify where you can look at lyrics perchance? He literally misinterpreted it just like you did and then made 16 bars about Kendrick being a SA survivor and that , for some reason, should be a good deflection of drake being a weirdo with kids? Come on now, I'm sure you can think a little bit more about this before commenting...
@@AnAverageGamer18 irony is you not understanding me. I get the song: kendrick mom thought ken got diddled, ken denied it, ken mom didnt believe him, that fucked ken up, ken realizes she has abuse in her past and was projecting.
Im saying this is all âso says kendrickâ. Maybe kendrick is in mad denial. Maybe he hasnt come to terms. It may not ultimately be true, but itâs not a bad angle by drake. Not the best angle maybe, but not bad
@@20boots52and the irony also is youâre perpetuating the problems the song is speaking on by saying he might just be coping. Come on bro.
@@gdshade6876 im saying thatâs what drake is saying. I dont care at all about kendrickâs personal life, just the raps

I've never seen someone unknowingly admit on a diss track that they were too dumb to understand their opp's song.
On top of that, Drakes probably not even the one that wrote that line. Heâs not even competent enough to write the dumb lyrics
"If I'm a criminal, how come I haven't been arrested?" is arguably the worst defense I've ever heard from an accused criminal.
not really? how can you call someone a criminal without proof of them being one
@@_g8 my man, heâs not saying âwhereâs the proof?â That would make sense. He said âHow come I havenât been caught?â Which is one of the dumbest defenses someone could make. Underrated comment đ
lolllll
Drake can't even read I guess

Exactly kendrick was saying he didnt get molestedđ€ŠđŸââïž
Honestly, the part where Drake goes into âMother I Soberâ just made me accept that Kendrick won this battle. Drake doesnât know wtf the song is about, and that further justifies Kendrickâs point of Drake being a culture vulture who is detached from the generational trauma that black people experience.
Even IF Mother I Sober was about Kendrick experiencing SA in childhood (which he says to his mom didnt happen, but the point was his mom didnt believe him because she has experienced it in her own life), there is no world in which you trivialize something like that to defend yourself or make a point because you just come off as an asshole.
đđđ but calling someone a pedo, wishing they werenât born. Telling his son the same the thing is okđ€·ââïž this is hip hop stop being soft
â@@joec2104cope harder. This track is a white flag.
@@blackspring3207Oo so you Stan then, crying because he said some bad words đą again this is hip hop nothing is off the table
@@joec2104 Kendrick has more respect for y'all than Drake does.
In fact, the misfire on the meaning of Mother I Sober paints the domestic abuse allegations in a different light. Kendrick already talked about treating his wife wrong in the Mr. Morale album and explicitly expresses remorse about it. From this context, saying that Kendrick hired a crisis management team to sweep those DA allegations under the rug also sounds like a lie- especially if there's no proof to be found in the first place, it's easy to spin an angle to say that this was all covered up.
How could you possibly believe Drake doesnât understand the song. The bar is genius as it gets, itâs taking the idea that Kendrickâs mother doesnât believe him. She thinks heâs lying because of her abusive past, and Drake is applying that same idea here. Heâs saying that Kendrick canât fathom that Drake isnât a pedophile because Kendrick is projecting his own abusive personality and abusive past by claiming Drakes a pedo
I do mind the angle, claiming to be too famous to be a sexual predator is really fucking weird.
Because it implies if he wasnât famous heâd be a sexual predator đŹđŹ tf
@@lana-jg4ho It also implies that Weinstein, Epstein, Diddy, Michael Jackson, Karl Malone, and plenty of others weren't "too famous" to be a predator.
Key takeaways:
If Drake fed Kendrick false info, why didnât he immediately reveal that after Kendrick dropped Meet the Grahams? Like post receipts on social media. It literally sounds like heâs running with narratives from social media.
Kendrick and Dave Free are still business partners, why would Dot stay with him if Dave impregnated his wife?
Whitneyâs brother promoted Kendrickâs most recent diss on twitter. If Kendrick really beat Whitney, why would her brother do that?
Youâre too rich and famous to be a pdf file? That argument makes no sense.
Kendrick WAS NOT molested and says so in Mother I Sober, the track Drake references. Even if he was molested, thatâs a crazy angle to take.
Drake revealed it in the Music. How it should be.

Personally I am not a fan of any of them and to be honest both of them seem quite shitty, but at least Kendrick seems to be trying to improve whereas Drake is just getting worse and doubling down on his elitism, I'm better than everyone, I am a sex symbol type shit.
So I support Kendrick because I hope that the one that is trying to become a better person wins.
Also, Kendrick is making wild accusations, but they're all rooted in psychohistorical truth about Drake, and Kendrick is know to not be a habitual liar and projectionist because Kendrick reflects. I mean, we don't have absolute proof, but this is all completely believable of Drake. Especially the perversion towards underage girls.
Kendrick was direct & surgical, heavy blow after blow. Drake had some elite lines very witty but it's all him defending himself from allegations, not even rebuttalling it's an save face type of track, damage control you can say. Kung Fu Kenny is different my G đ„ Much love from the UK

So Drake is saying that someone must be a victim of sexual assault to hate and be disgusted by predators/peddi's? I actually think someone who is willing to make fun of the idea of being an abuse survivor is particularly the type of person that would be a perpetrator (allegedly).
I also think him saying that he "tricked" Kendrick actually works against him... because it actually proves the "master manipulator" line from Kendrick when he described Drake (and probably anticipated that it would) and also it is because it paints Kendrick as someone who isn't making things up but actually relaying what he's hearing from what he thinks are credible sources. If anything, Drake can't say that Kendrick is making things up out of nowhere after telling us that Kendrick is trying to listen to sources, and in the process it gives less credence to Drake in that if Drake can lie with that, then he can lie to us. He shot himself in the foot there.

You're generalizing a conclusion Drake made about KENDRICK and extrapolating it to every victim of sexual assault. That in itself is irresponsible. Havenât all the famous people literally been exposed, he said the thing about Millie Bobby brown because thatâs what everyone talks about. Drake calling it "The Heart Part 6" is low-key his biggest blunder. The series is all about Kendrick immortalising himself in Hip Hop history through this intimate, evolving autobiography.
The current chapter is Kendrick trying to axe the biggest name in the game in Drake and he's managed to get so far inside Drakes head, Drake himself immortalised his biggest failure in this beef as just the next part in Kendrick's story... đ€Ż

As chronically online Drake is, surely he knows that video is circulating. Do his writers just give him shit and he blindly says it?
I find it funny he says never look twice but heâll look once then? đđ
@@Mrskaylaxo Or more than twice.
the reason he talks like he does is because he's like Trump, where you just make up your own truth and assume that most listeners are as ignorant as your stans and will just repeat that. That's what he's doing with the Kdot song too. He's just saying it's a confession of an SA victim because he thinks less people will check than will believe him. He don't care and hope it doesn't matter.
He's too used to being famous and is noticeably tired so he can't see how clearly the majority are gonna scan his notes. Esp with what's already out there about him.
He takes advantage of his pea brain fanbase and their lack of memory or thought. Every normal person knows of the video with the 17 year old. And everything else Drake has done over the past decade plus.
Dude sounds like he hasn't slept in days. He knew he didn't have a path to victory and backed out to save his brand.

I think they both have some receipts to show and Drake did what we asked for but he went about it the completely wrong way and even if Kendrick is lying thereâs too many examples through out the years of Drake being âweirdâ so the public are gonna give Kendrick the benefit of the doubt but I do need to start seeing some receipts
Also I donât think Drake planted the mole idk how he expects us to believe that

This diss full of contradictions its insane
Youre 100% right on drakeâs treatment of abuse survivors
Drake sounds so good in the moment; and his surface level disses with no ground to stand on are so often overlooked because of hype, but when you contextualize it and look at the bigger picture it doesn't make sense. That's the difference. Drake is forever riding the moment and tbh it took him far but it was about time someone told him that everything isn't always about whats hot and "what's next" (no pun intended) because your own image and the consistency between your feelings and morals will always eventually catch up to you. It's fine to change your opinions and thoughts on different subject matters but changing a narrative, naively misinterpreting messages and making fun of real deep traumas that affect other people is an insane angle to take
This track felt lame, and as it went on it got worse and worse. Drake hasn't said anything new, made himself look like a fool by trying to "defend" himself.
Love that you went back to check out Mother I, Drake is really standing on some thin ice if what he says can be invalidated so easily after a track drops...
Plus, we all know if Kendrick has ANY new receipts it's game over for Drake. But an easy flip would be just playing some of the shit that Drake has already pulled, since he's claming to have never done anything with underage kids WHY are there videos, quotes and screenshots of his dodgy stuff. It's so weird to come back to this after a while. I'm seeing the mental gymnastics that fanaticism can bring, and it is frightening. I laugh at Drake jokes and the like, but people really defending Drake's interpretation of Mother I Sober is scary for real. Screw all the other stuff. Let's read it how Drake fan's want you to read it. Drake is acting like Kendrick's mother in the song, and is basically saying he's projecting these allegations onto him (Drake), and that's why he's going so hard, and lets say that Drake is right and Kendrick's mother was right. Ya'll cool with (in this scenario) saying a SA Survivor is just paranoid and because they're a victim it invalidates what they gotta say? A man fighting for his life from allegations that he creates SA survivors saying (in this interpretation) that a SA survivor shouldn't be believed because they are a victim is wild. Fanaticism scares me, man.
that kendrick clip isnât about him beating whitney itâs about him beating A DIFFERENT WOMAN. itâs clearly trend around his name. He had a song with BJ the chicago kid where he admits to hitting women.

So Drakes angle against Kendrick calling him a pedo is to suggest that because of Kendrickâs past trauma, Kendrick has essentially got Drakes face on a dart board and sees him as an embodiment of everything Kendrick despises? Such a pathetic attempt at dismissing the accusations

Ultimately theyâre two separate talking points and unfortunately the nature of the tracks hasnât provided much clarity on any of the claims both are making, so to me how they address the claims seems like the realest thing weâve got, and I thought the manipulative way in which Drake dismissed the predator accusation was sad whether itâs true or not đ€·đ»ââïž

I means that's exactly what kendrick said in the interview in 2015 about the wife beating??? he literally just said its not true ?? but that's enough proof for kendrick but not enough proof for drake ???
Difference is that we have proof of drake being weird with minors
so far both kendrick and drake have made claims that have no proof but 4 some reason drake says he baited kendrick and everyone believes it bro . makes no sense
This is feeling a lot like a classic âHa! Jokes on you, I was only pretending to be retarded!â đ
Also, compare the two for a second. Thereâs plenty of seeds Kendrick plants in Euphoria to set up the fact that he knows what Drake is gonna do, and the releases lend credibility to the idea that he knew what was going to drop.
Compare this to Drake, who spends this entire track saying âhaha, stupid i expected you to do all this!â, despite not being prepared with receipts or even hinting at the possibility.
This is the guy in the chess game that says âI wanted you to do thatâ after every single catastrophic fuck up to try and play it off. Saying you expected something after it happens is meaningless.
People are placing too much of the quality of the tracks on the legitimacy of the info. Obviously, a lot of the sting of the tracks comes down to how much turns out to be true, but the first verse of meet the Grahams doesnât need any of that.
The pure evisceration of dressing Drake down to his son and then his parents is impeccable, meanwhile a lot of Drakeâs jabs are weak to begin with and then the domestic abuse allegations are like this big silver bullet.
