my mother named me zen and my brother enso. love that guy so much
To me that symbol represents awareness that knows itself, not as any thing seen with any qualities but as the seer of all, it represents “turning the light around”, or turning back awareness upon itself, not with effort but by “taking the backwards step”, by being aware of the breath.
The symbol is essentially chasing its own tail, if you do this by becoming aware of your breath you will also begin to be aware that you are aware. If you sink deep into this your entire self becomes that self effulgent awareness.
