Hoskinson has promised 1 million tps with hydra for years. It was one of his biggest marketing gimmicks. Now it's become clear it will never happen, so instead he shows you his 300 transactions in each block which he did only accomplished by increasing block size, just like Bitcoin Cash did. It isn't a solution to anything. Cardano is the biggest nothing in crypto.

So it's similar. Cardano is focusing on making each transaction efficient rather than doing useless transactions in volume..and remember when Cardano has made so many strong design choices, bringing the throughput huge is certainly possible which Charles says as well. We will have it when it's needed.

Thank you Charles for sharing. I have a strong belief in Cardano and its ecosystem. In my perspective, Cardano can be seen as akin to Bitcoin, but with the added capability of smart contracts. While it may not be widely recognized yet, it certainly exists. This phase we're in is just the inception, and it's crucial to acknowledge the years of hard work that led us to this point.

Well said. Like you, I found the FUD against Cardano one of its most clear selling points. Why would competitors go to so much trouble to bend over backwards trying to twist things to make ₳ look bad at every opportunity if there were nothing there. The hate is a clear indicator of SUBSTANCE.
Learning that hydra can process that many events per transaction is crazy. It exponentially increases the throughput because its not a 1:1 ratio. 1000 tps with multiple events per transaction increases the true throughput by a massive margin. It makes the raw throughput multiplicative which is a vast advantage against other blockchains running 10000 tps at a 1:1 ratio
This and other videos are part of a valuable dialogue about blockchain functionality in general and Cardano's in particular. I haven't closely followed what the critics/trolls have said about Hydra's supposed shortcomings and failures, mainly because they seldom/never offer thought out critiques. There's never any depth to it. Someone with an axe to grind makes something up, or emphasizes one metric in isolation from a constellation of relevant metrics, and through repetition that becomes an enduring (false) narrative. But the truth will prevail one way or the other.
I no longer believe that Hydra will function in a way that zkSync and other L2s are scaling. In my view, it is not even clear what kind of use cases will be solved by Hydra state channels.
Charles you should focus on marketing and educating peers. A majority of adoption will be done by masses and masses don't have great intelligence collectively. As much as the blockchain is superior, we have to get the word out there... get people to know the choices which were made and why they were made in an understandable fashion. Do something like a video weekly to advertise the hard work you and your team has been doing. We cannot lose. There will always be haters but we have to target the normal masses before they get persuaded by the liars.
There is no adoption of Cardano by anyone. You know why? Because most companies have common sense along with due diligence. They know a con artist when they see one. Enjoy watching your bags goto zero, because that's where they're headed.

TPS vs TPT is what most people don't understand. Pushing through 1000 single transactions per second is fine and dandy, but what if you can push through 1000 transactions in a single transaction per second? You'd only need ONE transaction per second to match the other method. The method of TPT is the future of moving data.
Hello Charles, I think Cardano is the most complete and advanced, secure blockchain on the industry. Without mentioning that is decentralized. I think, as you did in this video; it is only matter to invite enterprises to use Cardano and explain them the benefits of it with a more simple vocabulary. Thank you Charles, as always putting false statements in the ground. As explained, on Cardano you can batch several transactions in one transaction, something you cannot do within other networks. The longer I see the advancements in ADA, the more convinced I am that this is a top contender in the crypto space that will dominate a least in the next decade (if not longer).
What a load of crap. Cardano did nothing except increase the block size, just like bitcoincash. Hoskinson was forced to do this because Cardano was so feeble and couldn't handle basic network traffic.
Cardano is since the bearmarket started the one that most development news comes from, despite it's 'slow development' status. No flaws. No rollbacks. No forks. Many in the crypto community can't wrap their head around on how Cardano works (including me to some level) and develops it in a thorough and smart way. I think, as you did in this video; it is only matter to invite enterprises to use Cardano and explain them the benefits of it with a more simple vocabulary. I Think the only thing that we need for massive adoption is fun/hot/seductive marketing because the key point for any product to go massive is that people doesn't want to know how complex or how it works, people only cares about how fast and easy is to use.

Thank you Charles, as always putting false statements in the ground. As explained, on Cardano you can batch several transactions in one transaction, something you cannot do within other networks. The longer I see the advancements in ADA, the more convinced I am that this is a top contender in the crypto space that will dominate a least in the next decade (if not longer).

What a load of crap. Cardano did nothing except increase the block size, just like bitcoincash. Hoskinson was forced to do this because Cardano was so feeble and couldn't handle basic network traffic.

Cardano is since the bearmarket started the one that most development news comes from, despite it's 'slow development' status. No flaws. No rollbacks. No forks. Many in the crypto community can't wrap their head around on how Cardano works (including me to some level) and develops it in a thorough and smart way. What's the point in follow another's chains development footsteps, Cardano invents new ways and improves. If i had any financial advise for myself i'd say.. go with your gut feeling .. go Cardano ;)
